We are looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving this year with our family and I am excited to share my traditional tablescape with you today. I have been more aware this year than ever that time is fleeting and I am cherishing any and all time spent with loved ones. My grandmother is 85 this year and seeing her around my girls brings me so much joy.
Each year I volunteer to host Thanksgiving, mostly so that I don’t have to cook. I provide the appetizers and beverages and my grandma, mom and aunt do the share of the cooking! It’s a dream! One thing different this year is that my house will be decorated for Christmas (I couldn’t help myself) so I decided to keep my table neutral.
For this year’s traditional Thanksgiving table I opted for a neutral runner from Pottery Barn. The gold chargers are also from Pottery Barn, but I’ve heard that you can get almost identical dupes at Target. The silverware was passed down from my mother-in-law and the crystal glasses and Vietri China are from our wedding registry. For the florals, I called my friend Kelly of Ford Studio Design. She has a new business, Shop Fields South if you live near the Greenville area and are looking for fantastic arrangements.
