Welcome to my annual “what to wear to the apple orchard” post. As always, I bought everything from Backcountry. But this time is extra special because it is Isla’s first time to the apple orchard! Ok that’s not entirely true. Technically she went to the apple orchard last summer. Last time I was trying to hide a baby bump in my athleisure gear from Backcountry and this time I’m sharing all of my favorite new arrivals for fall!

Hat // Flannel // Boots

I love partnering with Backcountry each month to share my latest finds for lifestyle apparel, footwear, and activewear with you! Not only is Backcountry an outstanding retailer in terms of their unbeatable selection and their free two-day shipping on domestic orders over $50, but they also have the nicest humans in customer service. Backcountry’s gearheads actually answer the phone when you call and can help you with anything you need concerning advice, help with an order or exchanges and returns. It is by far one of my most-ordered from retailers!

Hat // Flannel

Fall New Arrivals from Backcountry

Sorel Pull On Boot // These are the BEST boots for fall. I wear them everywhere and with everything. They have stretchy side panels and are easy to pull on and off, repel water and have a great grip so you won’t slip on leaves or grass. I wear them tailgating, to dinner, to the orchard, basically all fall long.

Canyon Flannel Shirt // This is the flannel I have on in these photos. It’s 100% organic cotton and so soft. I bought it in “snowflake” (pictured) and in “antique bronze”. You could wear it buttoned, unbuttoned or tied around your waist and I would recommend sizing up for an oversized fit.

Free People Henley // If you like to wear henleys as your base layer, get this one! It’s fairly thin and won’t add bulk. The waffle knit construction creates a warm, wintry look, but its soft and lightweight threads won’t let us overheat.

Waffle Henley Shirt // This is another henley I ordered. It’s thicker and I would wear it solo or layered under outwear. It has a slimmer design and a slight stretch for a flattering and oh-so-comfy fit.

Barbour Fleece Jacket // I don’t have any plans to take a fall trip just yet so I’m probably going to return this jacket but I love it! It would be a great way to dress up a tailgating or fall sightseeing outfit while still being comfortable. With added fleece to the reverse side, this style has cord pockets and binding for seasonal detailing.

Breckenridge Hat // This by far my favorite Stetson hat to date! I bought it in the color “walnut” but love the black and the cognac, too! Backcountry has restocked a lot of my hats! I have the Bozeman hat in mushroom, the Ashley hat in sand, the Holden hat in driftwood, the Santa Fe hat in driftwood, and the Jackson hat in bronze (Zach has it in sage).

Insulated Parka // I’m trying to branch out from the all black outwear this fall and I love this insulated parka in Olive Night. It also comes in an orange that would be perfect for Clemson games! It’s a mid-length jacket with a durable ripstop material and DWR coating, so moisture and time are not an issue.
