Valentine’s Gifts + Tablescapes

Happy Monday! Valentines is next week and I thought I would share a few fun gifts and tablescape inspiration with you all. I love giving little gifts to my girls and Zach’s to celebrate Valentines despite I think it’s quite possibly the cheesiest holiday out there. For Zach I usually gather up a few of his favorite knick knacks like gum, candy, lottery tickets, etc. and then I will make a good meal and a yummy dessert. I typically do steaks in the oven like this recipe and it’s a real crowd pleaser. We eat with the girls at home and then binge watch our favorite show. Currently that is Riviera. I’m on episode 5 and I actually had to tear myself away to write this post. For the girls I will take a trip to Target and fill up a bag with a few things from the dollar spot and a new pair of sunglasses or necklace. Zach always gets them their own gift from Daddy which is special but not always entirely girly. For example, one year he got them these masks.

If you give gifts to your mom, sister, daughters, gal pals or yourself here are a few inexpensive ideas!

This year I didn’t plan a tablescape post partly because we are in our apartment which makes it tricky and partly because we have been packing for, traveling to and from and vacationing in Hawaii for the past two weeks. I didn’t want to leave you empty-handed if you wanted to plan a pretty Valentine’s spread so here are a few of my favorite tablescapes from around the web. I can’t even wait to be in our new house next year and go crazy with the party and entertaining inspiration but for now I hope you enjoy what I rounded up! If all else fails just head to Target and grab a couple of trinkets then to Trader Joes for some cheap centerpieces and call it a day!
