It’s the week before Christmas!!!! Ok ok It’s the week before football season but for yours truly football season feels a whole lot like Christmas! If you’re new here I’m a dedicated Clemson Tiger and this post will be mostly dedicated to my fellow Clemson Tigers! I love Clemson and we are blessed to live close enough where we can get to games every weekend. I honestly don’t know if I would want to live somewhere that I couldn’t get back to Clemson as much as possible. After all, it’s been a part of my life since I was Scottie’s age. I grew up attending games, was on the dance team in college and up until the girls were born I had missed less than 5 games in the last decade. Both mine and Zach’s families are Clemson fans and we tailgate on Saturdays, go to away games, you name it. I love the program, the people, the atmosphere and the entire experience. I genuinely count down the days until football season every year and there’s no place better to spend it than in Death Valley.

Like any fun event in life my focus is (if I’m being honest) first and foremost on the food (tailgating food is my love language) and then a very close second is on what I will wear. Planning what to wear to football games in the South can be tricky because the weather is all over the place! I like to wear a easy breeze sun dress or shorts and a tank for the first few games, transition to dresses with booties for the mid-season games and count down the days until it’s boots and jeans and button-ups and vests and scarves season, amen.
