Oversized Cozy Sweaters from Backcountry

Sponsored by Backcountry and ShopStyle

Oversized is my go-to style for the winter. Really happy oversized sweaters and longer t-shirts are in style and readily available so I can look cozy rather than an uncomfortable pregnant lady. I’m happy I’ve been able to find some really great casual sweaters at Backcountry because they’re warm, well made and come in my favorite neutral colors.

Backcountry has exclusive brands Stoic, and Basin and Range in addition to Patagonia, Sorel, and others. Right now, they’re having a 40% off sale on these exclusive brands. And, if you have never ordered from Backcountry use my code CRISTIN15 for 15% off your first order at Backcountry.com (some exclusions apply!)

Backcountry Sweaters I’m Wearing

Waffle Mock Neck Sweater // My favorite kind of winter sweater. The mock neck isn’t too high and the fabric is super drapey. It is more than long enough in the back so it pairs great with skinny jeans and especially leggings. I’ve been wearing it with leggings lately and my normal size offers plenty of room for the bump.

Stoic Open Cardigan // This open cardigan sweater is oversized but still slimming. The simple silhouette makes it a closet staple. While it’s designed to feel like a beanie, it is chic enough to be dressed up. Comes in two colors and currently on sale for under $40.

Oversized Cardigan // This oversized cardigan is super soft and comfortable. It has subtle balloon sleeves at the wrist and pockets. I suggest to throw it on as soon as you get home or keep it on the back of your office chair. It’s definitely the sweater you want to curl up on the couch in.

Layering Pieces

Under all these Backcountry sweaters I’m wearing the Free People Arden long-sleeve shirt. It’s long enough to cover your backside and has thumb holes. I really like this for layering as it’s not too thick so I’m not going to overheat, a common occurrence these days. It comes in six colors.

For when I leave the house these Sorel Boots are my go-to winter shoes. These are different from my other Sorel boots (yes, I love this brand) because they have sneaker bottoms. The upper part is waterproof which is great for when the weather doesn’t know if it wants to snow or not. The sneaker sole is great for an everyday winter boot.

I’m so excited Yellowstone is back I bought another hat. This one doesn’t have the price tag of the Stetson, and it’s a little less rustic. With a flat brim and a round crown, it fits my larger head while still looking cute. The sand color is classic and I think it can be dressed up or dressed down.
