When we started building our home, having a built-in coffee maker was a hill I was prepared to die on. So much so that I opted for it over a 2nd oven. I guess my mindset was that I could order food if needed but I need espresso at the touch of a button to survive. I also don’t love things sitting out on my counters. We ended up buying a Miele coffee maker from Ferguson and I have absolutely loved it! In today’s post I’m sharing all about that coffee maker, my favorite coffee accessories, and how I make a delicious cup of java!
Before we dive into all things coffee, how cute is this brunch board my friend Jordan from Taste and See Greenville created? Be sure to call her for all your app board needs!
My Favorite Coffee Fixings
“How do you take your coffee?” is a question that defines us as individuals in this society. Okay, that was dramatic but seriously, everyone has their own needs/tastes when it comes to coffee, whether you load yours up with cream and sugar, or drink it completely black. Over the years, I’ve come to develop a particular taste for certain flavors (like hazlenut…yum), and have a somewhat high maintenance coffee routine. I take my morning cup with a spoonful of Vital Proteins collagen peptides, a little bit of Califia Hazlenut Almond Milk Creamer, and a few drops of liquid Stevia! Here are a few more of my favorite coffee fixings from around the web.
My Go-To Starbucks Orders
While we’re on the topic of how I take my coffee, here are a few of my go-to orders at Starbucks!
Our Miele Coffee Maker
If you follow along on Instagram, you’ve probably seen me share a little bit about our built in Miele coffee maker! We LOVE our Miele and it is honestly one of my very favorite things about the new house. I never knew I could be MORE particular about how I take my coffee until I realized how many options the Miele gives you to customize your cup. You can program everything from the water temperature, to the amount of froth, to the grinding grade and more! The Miele will make you whatever your drink of choice may be, whether it’s an espresso, a cappuccino, a latte, or a good ole standard cup of coffee. As if all that weren’t enough, you can even create yourself a user profile so the machine can make you exactly what you like. We got ours from Ferguson and it’s the CVA 6405!
Coffee Accessories from Amazon
Y’all know I am hardcore about my Amazon finds, and one of my most popular finds is by FAR my handheld frother! Before we had the Miele, I used this to froth warmed milk/creamer to put in my coffee. Amazon is full of awesome accessories for your coffee, from coffee scoops that double as a bag clip, to temperature controlled mugs. Browse my favorites Amazon finds for coffee below!
Coffee Mugs to Keep or Gift
Of course, what good is fancy coffee without a cute mug to sip out of? Any of these mugs would make great gifts, but honestly I think I’d have trouble giving them away. If there’s one thing I don’t need any more of, it’s coffee mugs…but how can you resist when they’re this cute??
