Hello August!! The heat is intense and the countdown is on until all the kids are back in school. As we kick it into survival mode to make it to cooler weather & fall, I figured it was time to share a few tried & true beauty favorites from July. From SPF & Vitamin C for sun protection, to self tanning glow pads (faux glow til I die), to bronze-y shadow and contour palettes, these beauty items are the best for creating a summer look that stays all day, while still keeping your skin protected from the sun. PEACE OUT ACNE HEALING DOTS // These little stickers are a lifesaver. They have Vitamin A, Salicylic Acid, and Aloe Vera to help clear and heal blemishes!
DR. DENNIS GROSS ALPHA BETA GLOW PADS // I’ve been trying these out as a gradual self tanner for my face, and though I can’t tell a huge difference just yet, I do love these for the exfoliation benefits! The Dr. Dennis Gross team messaged me and suggested I try the intense glow version so I’m going to try that!!
SKINCEUTICALS PHLORETIN CF // My Vitamin-C serum. You can read more about this serum and why you should be using Vitamin-C here!
SUPERGOOP UNSEEN SUNSCREEN // I have been using this as my daily SPF and I’m in love. Creates a great canvas for makeup application and provides much needed sun protection.
TULA FACE FILTER BLURRING PRIMER // I reviewed this product a while back on this post, and it has remained a favorite. Tula can do no wrong in my eyes!
IT COSMETICS CC CREAM // This is already my go-to for everyday makeup, but the SPF also makes it great for summertime! I wear shade Light Medium and will also mix with this CC Cream Bronzer for a touch more color!
TARTE SHAPE TAPE CONCEALER // I always find myself going back to this concealer. It’s a cult favorite, and for good reason! I use the color light-neutral & you only need a tiny dab!!
NARS PRIVATE PARADISE CONTOUR PALETTE // Bought this contour palette at the Nordstrom Sale and am loving it so far!
CHARLOTTE TILBURY HOLLYWOOD CONTOUR WAND // An easy to use, buildable contour wand! I specifically use this to contour my nose. Just put it on the outside of the bridge of your nose…. actually just go watch my IGTV to learn how.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY HOLLYWOOD BEAUTY LIGHT WAND // If I could start a fan club for this product, I totally would. I apply it to my cheek bone, the bridge of my nose, my cupid’s bow or the inner corner of the eye for a pretty glow.
MAC PAINT POT // I use this MAC paint pot in “Painterly” as an eyeshadow primer. Helps the shadow stay in place!
CHARLOTTE TILBURY EYESHADOW PALETTE // A great N-Sale purchase that is sadly sold out. I also own this similar palette and love it!
KAT VON D TATTOO EYELINER // My go-to liquid eyeliner! Stays put all day and is easy to apply with precision.
L’OREAL VOLUMINOUS SUPERSTAR MASCARA // I have yet to find a mascara I like better than this $10 one! Love that it’s double sided with primer + mascara in one tube. But I’m not the only one who loves this stuff – it’s a consistent best seller among my readers!
CHARLOTTE TILBURY LIPSTICK // This lipstick is enriched with antioxidants and blended with special waxes for all-day wear. I like shade “Kim K.W.” I also like “Bitch Perfect” in this one.
MAC LIPGLASS // Got this in a set from the Nordstrom sale and am obsessed. There are dozens of great shades, but I’m currently using “Feelin Fine”.
LANEIGE LIP BALM // A truly great balm. I have shade “grapefruit”!
SUPERGOOP SETTING MIST // Setting mist with SPF benefits. Keeps your makeup in place all day while protecting your skin from UV rays!
