Holiday Hot Cocoa Display

Every year at Christmastime my girlfriends and I have a “favorite things” party. We gather at someone’s house and everyone brings one of their favorite items $25 of less for a white elephant exchange. In addition to the gift, we all bring an appetizer or dessert we love. This year, I was in charge of the decor and contributed a festive hot cocoa display! If you’re hosting a holiday party this year or just want to set up a sweet welcome for your Christmas house guests then I highly recommend this easy crowd-pleaser!

As I was browsing, I stumbled across these mini tabletop trees (similar) and quickly shifted the theme of my hot cocoa display to center around them! I also spotted this berry & pine cone garland (similar) which I used to wrap around a serving board. This garland (similar) would be beautiful on a mantle flanked by these mini trees (similar) but it also makes an excellent table runner or accent for any spot that needs a little extra greenery.

I loved the red in the trees (similar) & garland (similar) so much that I started looking for more red accents for the table. I originally planned to use these red plaid napkins (similar) as napkins for guests but loved them bunched around the table since I was building up different layers for the trees(similar). I think it’s important to have different heights if you’re looking to create an interesting tablescape and used the tin from these peppermint cookies (similar) under a tree for some height. I also snagged this cute wood sled serving board (similar) for a little extra height. If you didn’t want to use the napkin technique then this tablecloth (similar) is beautiful as well! I also love this platter with Christmas Trees!

I also found this gourmet hot cocoa (similar)! These very affordable white mugs (similar) were the perfect vessels for my chocolatey treat and how great are these snowflake (similar) and Christmas tree (similar) hot cocoa toppers! I found these customizable cookie cocoa toppers as well – which would be so fun! For the treats I scattered around mini marshmallows, peppermints, gingerbread cookies from the grocery store and plenty of gourmet goodies selection including butter almond toffee (similar), peppermint bark (similar) and these beautiful peppermint cookies! This black sweater (similar) is in a word, amazing. It’s the perfect thickness because it holds you in, feels very luxurious but isn’t hot at all! I plan on layering it all winter long!
