I love white comforters, I buy all white linens, and when it comes to the towels in my house they are 100% white. There is just something about knowing you can bleach out a spill that brings me peace of mind. Kids running through the house with food? Not the end of the world. Someone steals a highlighter & draws on my bed? The urge to ring someone’s neck is brought back down to earth by a bottle of bleach. When it comes to clothing I always veer towards classic style and earthy tones and my closet is slam full of neutrals including, you guessed it, white! I just love wearing white, and especially with denim.
I think wearing white makes my skin look better, it’s ultra classic and never goes out of style, and in the event I miss my mouth at dinner I don’t have to panic. Blessed assurance a bleach pen is mine. If you want to easily juggle the changing of the seasons, be well-dressed for any formality and just all around like you have your life together, I urge you to add a classic white top to your closet. I also urge you to pair said white top with your most flattering pair of denim. You can button it up, front-tuck into your jeans or tie it in the front but I think any amount of tucking or tying only ads to the chicness of this look.
