What the Girls and I are Wearing this Winter

Sponsored by Zappos and ShopStyle Collective.

It’s winter and I’m restocking the girls and my closets with some new outfits and accessories. Let’s just say I am not a fan of being pregnant in the winter, but I have found some ways to get by thanks to some finds at Zappos. I’m not buying a ton of maternity clothes, so below I feature new winter clothes and shoes for those of you who are not “with child.” If you are expecting, I have found some really great maternity tops and leggings Zappos

Why Zappos

Yes, most of the items below can be found in-store, but I really love shopping at Zappos because of their customer service and their return policy. If you need customer service, you can talk to a person! There is no automated phone tree, a real person picks up the phone and they can help you with everything from fit questions to shipping and returns. Speaking of shipping—it’s always free and you can also link your Amazon Prime account for even faster shipping.

They have an amazing return policy – you can return anything for a full year after you purchase it. How many times do you forget the standard 30-day return window? A full year, plus free returns is a huge reason to shop Zappos

My Winter Clothes and Shoes

Madewell Sweater Coat // I know you’re shocked, another oversized sweater but I’m leaning heavily into this look this winter. This one from Madewell is elevated to be more like a coat, for days you want to look put together but are just running a few errands and not standing outside for long periods of time.

Sanctuary Carleton Coat // This one looks more coat-like with the collar and the double-breasted buttons. But since it’s cotton, it still is lightweight for any indoor activities or events. The ivory color is really pretty.

Chloe Sunglasses // Never without oversized sunnies. I like these from Chloe.

Sam Edelman Wide Shaft Boots // Boots that fit my calves! Always a struggle but these are an investment and worth it if you have a hard time finding knee-high boots.

Marc Fisher Booties // I love these booties. I got them in the Taupe suede color but they come in 9 colors including black and brown leather. The heel height is perfect and still comfortable.

Maternity Selections

Beyond Yoga Maternity Leggings // Give me all the maternity leggings, please. I like that these are full-length and go over the belly.

Beyond Yoga Pullover // I do need a maternity shirt under all the sweaters I’m wearing. This one is basic black but it also goes down long enough to cover your behind. Yes to the extra coverage.

Winter Clothes for the Girls

Abercrombie Kids Cozy Parka // I love that this winter parka comes in six colors. The light red looks like a coral color and the light pink is a pretty mauve. If you need an even more neutral option I like the light grey which almost looks champagne. The fur on the hood is removable if that’s not your style. The girls love this coat as it’s cute but keeps them warm to play outside.

Koolaburra Victoria Boots // The Koolaburra boots are my go-to for the girls’ winter Uggs because they’re more affordable, especially when you’re buying new boots every year. These are just as warm and have cute but subtle bows. We get the chestnut color but if you’re into it, they also come in pink.

Smartwool Beanie // We love beanies in our house. I really like these in both dark grey and white.
Abercrombie Kids Beanie // These are also cute and come in colors that coordinate with the parkas. They come in black and a pink/mauve color.
