Turkey Vegetable Detox Soup

Recipe by Cristin

Trying to lose this postpartum weight one pot of Turkey Vegetable Detox Soup at a time. I love soup & this one is loaded with summer veggies. I made a huge pot last week & the whole gang loved it!

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb of ground turkey, browned

1 small sweet onion

1 small zucchini (I used a bag of minis from Trader Joes)

1 diced sweet potato

1 small yellow squash

3 cups of chopped cabbage

3 cloves of minced garlic

1 box of low sodium chicken broth

4 stalks of celery sliced

3 large carrots chopped

1 large can of diced or crushed tomatoes

1 can of white beans

Season with sea salt (3 tsp), black pepper (1tsp), oregano (1/2 tsp), crushed red pepper (1/2 tsp) & a dash of paprika.

Instructions

Honestly you can’t go wrong!! Just cook the turkey first, then add in the onion, garlic, broth, seasonings and hard veggies & save the zucchini & squash, white beans & cabbage for closer to the end!
