RewardStyle Conference Recap

Happy Friday!!! Last week I was in Dallas, TX for RewardStyle’s annual conference. RewardStyle is a killer company that has created a ton of technology to let influencers monetize their content. They invited their top 200 performers to Dallas for the weekend to learn about how to grow our businesses and network with brands. This was my first year getting invited and I literally took a screenshot of the email and texted about 57 people immediately. I was so excited to make the cut but I know that none of that would have happened without you all following along and trusting my opinions on where to shop and what to buy. So thank you sincerely for reading this blog and supporting the brands I love. I’m so excited to put into practice everything I learned and get better at this whole blogging thing.

WEEKEND SALES

Before I get into the nitty gritty of my weekend in Dallas let’s discuss the best sales?going on this weekend:

J.Crew – 30% off of regular priced styles and 40% off of sale styles with code BIG SALE. Of course I’m dying to go overboard on the purchasing front. Current status = reign. it. in.

Banana Republic – 40% off of select items (no code necessary). I love this dress?and there are so many cute tops I’m just going to link them all below.

Macy’s – 30% off sitewide with code FRIEND through 5.7. Macy’s. It’s their Friends & Family sale and a great time to buy shoes, jewelry and luggage!

Ann Taylor – save up to 40% off with code MORESTYLE through 4.30. I love this bell sleeve dress!

Kate Spade – 25% off sale items with code DOUGH through 5.1. That makes this bag $75!

REWARDSTYLE CONFERENCE

Where We Stayed: Hotel Cresent Court. The hotel grounds are pretty, it’s in a great spot and the pool is nice. The rooms are a little outdated for my liking (think cream carpet and traditional) but it was a great place to hold a conference due to all of the meeting rooms. Last time I was in Dallas I stayed at The Joule and I would highly recommend it.

Where We Ate: Nobu, Meso Maya, Water Grill, Shake Shack. So much food. So little time to eat more food.

What I Did: Meetings, meetings and more meetings. We learned about the state of the retail industry, best practices when negotiating with brands plus I got to meet with some really incredible companies including TopShop, Banana Republic, Lole, Barrington Gifts, Colleen Rothschild, Supergoop!, Sole Society and The Daily Edited to name a few!

Who I Met: Ok this is my favorite part. I imagined that I would be walking into a “who wore it best” / “high school reunion” atmosphere and let me say I was 100% correct. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t like there were fashion shows with judging panels or cat fights or anything like that. A ton of these girls have just been at this whole blogging game for a long time and already have their established friend groups. I went with one of my blogging friends turned real-life friends, Kate, and we were like piranhas out to meet people and make friends. On day one I sat beside a pretty little lady named Landyn and right in front of these gals named Clea & Joanna. I was also introduced to their fellow Nashvillian, Kelly, and to say we were all instantly bffs would be an understatement. I don’t know if it was our mutual love of sarcasm or our shared love of food or all being new to the conference game that bonded us so quickly. Whatever it was I am so glad to have met these ladies and my abs are still sore from laughing.

WHAT I PACKED:

My travel outfit:

Pool Party Outfit:

Day 1 of Meetings: (I’ll do a post soon on how I scored this bag on a huge discount)

Day 2 of meetings / lunch with Topshop:

Cocktail party with Bumble:

Day 3: I love this top but you definitely need to wear a tank under it!
