Already failed at your New Year’s resolutions? Here is another idea for you! Instead of trying to stick to a huge list of things you “resolve” to do for 365 days this year how about setting 12 goals instead? And no I’m not just talking about goals that are actually resolutions I’m talking about projects or things you want to complete in 2017 that can be taken one at a time. Take each month to complete a new project and at the end of 2017 you’ll have made a little headway on that never ending to-do list just lurking in the back of your mind. You know the one…. Make those baby books already, Mom, I’m almost three!
I’m taking January to tackle organizing my makeup and skincare collection. This actually will serve two purposes. It will not only look better but it will also help me make sure that I stay dedicated to my nightly and morning skincare routines. I want to make sure that I’m protecting my skin every morning and applying all of those magic potions and serums to keep looking 26 forever and ever amen. I’m also hoping that being extremely organized will help reduce the amount of time it takes me to get ready in the morning.
To spruce up my vanity area I enlisted the help of GLAMboxes, a line of high-end beauty organizers that keep all of your items visible and organized. ?You can buy them at Glamboxes.com and they are even sold at Shopbop! Here is a look at how I organized my GLAMPetite Partial Lip Makeup Box
Top Shelf – Skincare + Lips
On the top shelf I keep my everyday face products including foundation, cc cream, setting spray, defense mist and a BeautyBlender.
Also on the top shelf I keep my Tula skincare lineup so that I never miss a step. Amongst the chosen are my Hydrating Day & Night Cream, Overnight Skin Rescue Treatment, Volume Defense Serum, Exfoliating Treatment Mask, Purifying Face Cleanser, Illuminating Face Serum & Revitalizing Eye Cream.
Next up are the lipglosses! When you order a GLAMbox you also get this lipstick organizer that I’m using to keep my products from Supergoop, Sugar, YSL, Bare Minerals & Nars all organized.
Bottom Shelf – Foundation + Contouring
Skipping down to the bottom drawer I have everything I need for priming, contouring, concealing and setting my makeup.
Middle Drawer – All Eyes
The next drawer up holds everything I need for my eyes including this Maybelline Eyeshadow Palette, Tarte Eyeshadow Palette and Laura Mercier Primer I put on before I apply my eyeshadow. I also keep this Laura Geller Color Correcting Foundation, Becca Blush & Highligher and NYX illuminator for strobing and getting my cheeks nice and rosy.
Top Drawer – Eyes + A Odds & Ends
The top drawer has all of my favorite mascaras including Laura Geller and the best mascara in the world, this one by L’Oreal.
Then my eyeliners like Laura Geller, Tarteist and Maybelline.
On the other side are my favorite Brow Liner and brow gel.
Beside the stand I have my brushes from sephora and a few of my favorite polishes by Essie.
And on the other side I have my rings in this cute dish, my favorite perfumes and my beloved bangles.
This post is in partnership with GLAMboxes. Thanks for supporting the brands that make this blog possible! You can follow them on instagram here and you should definitely check out their line of jewelry boxes and all of their organizing accessories.
