Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Fit Review

Here is an update of what I tried on and purchased during my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping trip! The jeans in my instagram yesterday didn’t link correctly and has since been corrected. This is the correct pair. I got a 27 and they are true to size. Didn’t post a picture of the shoes but I got these flats,?these booties and these riding boots. I also really loved these booties but you have to cut yourself off somewhere. I didn’t buy a purse because the only one I really wanted was this one and it wasn’t in store but I just ordered online to see if I like it in person! This necklace was the only piece of jewelry I bought in store because I wanted to wear it (forgot my necklace) and I was about to buy these sunglasses but I need another pair of sunglasses like I need a hole in my head. Herringbone Blazer – You had me at herringbone. This piece speaks my fashion love language. It’s true to size and I got a small!

Navy Jacket – I LOVE this but it didn’t make the cut. If I would have had a fancy dinner party on the calendar it certainly would have and I might cave and buy it before it’s all said and done.

Leather Jacket – The gold details on this jacket are VERY gold and I just didn’t love the contrast. I ended up buying this jacket which I will probably return now because only those of you that are a size 2 will be able to buy it.

Suede Jacket – The jacket in my photos must be in stores only because this jacket online doesn’t even look like the same color and isn’t on sale. I did not like the mustard shade of the one in the photo above though but the suede felt great!

Gold Jacket – It would be soooo cool with a graphic tee, leggings and sneakers but I am just not that cool.

Green Anorak – If you love a long anorak, are tall or wear leggings and sneakers a lot then you will love this! I don’t do the athleisure thing really and I have short legs so it wasn’t for me.

Green Military Jacket – I love this!! I think it’s the best item in the sale and I got a small.

Pink Lace Dress – Not online. I thought it was too long for my frame so I didn’t get it. Tried on small.

Black Floral Dress – Didn’t love the fit. I think it would be good if you had a shorter torso and I like the blush color online better. Tried on xs.

Black Polka Dot Dress – No offense to the beauty of a model in these pictures but I think this dress looked a little frumpy on her. When I tried it on I definitely liked it! I would say that if you don’t have a booty size down so it fits your chest area good!

Grey Dress – I’m officially depressed because this dress is awesome and comes in three colors and is 100% sold out. Fingers crossed that it comes back in stock!

Pink Romper – At the time I thought it looked like PJs and I think it’s because it felt like PJs (silk). I kind of regret not buying it. I wore a medium bc of my torso length.

White Dress – I like the blush color online better! I didn’t get it because I didn’t think I would wear white that often.

Blue Dress – No and no. This was too slinky on me and I didn’t like the cap sleeves at all. If you have super tiny body with no loose skin from babies or bra bulge then go for it.

Leggings – Didn’t love the slits in the thigh so I ended up getting these instead. They didn’t have a ton of workout gear in the store so I ordered these leggings, this tank, this pullover, this hoodie?as well as this hoodie?and these leggings.

Grey Sweater – Love this sweater! You would wear it over your workout gear into the gym or to yoga when it’s chilly. Or just in daily life when you wear leggings all day every day like we all do.

Vest – I love this vest and would have bout it if it wasn’t blue and black. I just didn’t know if I loved it more than an all black one and I think I want to buy the white online.

Cropped leggings – Love them. Bought them.

Madewell Jeans – Didn’t love the wash in store. I was thinking they were black and they are a little faded. Still cute just not 100% my style

Articles of Society Jeans – These are great but I just didn’t need them. True to size.

Light Wash Jeans – I honestly can’t remember what these were but it doesn’t matter because I didn’t like them. I did just order this pair like them to try.

Paige Jeans – Love them. Get them. I’ll show you 100 ways to wear them. Unless you are little in the tummy size up bc they are tight in the waist line!

Distressed Jeans – If you ordered the Sarah Skinny Jeans yesterday they weren’t the ones in the photos. I really like them and they are very similar but I ended up getting these jeans instead.

Polka Dot Top – Love it and regret not getting it.

Lace Top – Love it! Just didn’t make the cut.

Striped Top – Love it. Ordering online.

Black Top – Way too much sleeve for me! Which is saying something.

Blue Top – Meh. Didn’t even link because it’s underwhelming.

White Top – So cute. Fits true to size. I just can’t get passed the feeling like I’m choking.

Grey Sweater – I liked this sweater but I didn’t $49 like it and it was pretty sheer so if you get it be prepared to wear a tank under it!

Lace Top – I love this top but they didn’t have the white in stores so I ordered!

Grey Sweater – This sweater is extremely soft but there is a lot of it and that tie is bulky. Size down if you want to wear with jeans or keep if you want to wear with leggings. It’s not long enough to cover your bum so when I say leggings I mean the tasteful supposed to be worn as pants kind.

Blush Top – Love it! Might buy it in black too! It is so cute with jeans and heels and you could easily throw a blazer over it.

White Tee – This raw edge tee is great and so roomy! I bought a small which fits great but is long and lays on my jeans perfectly thanks to the slit on the sides.

Black Top – See below in white. I don’t typically like cold shoulder tops but this one is very flattering and fits great!

Here are the outfits & items I loved. All jeans are size 27, all tops are smalls and the dress is a small as well. They all run true-to-size with the exception of the Paige jeans which I would size up in. All of the shoes I bought are true to size as well and I’m in a 9.
