If you are looking to indulge in a little retail therapy, what is your go-to store? My favorite is easily Sephora. I could spend hours on their website reading about new products, checking out the reviews and making wish lists. In my opinion, Sephora has always been and will always be the authority on what is current on the beauty scene. I love to check out their “Just Arrived” page and favorite items to my Sephora account. I am a member of their (free) Beauty Insider program which lets me favorite items for later, earn reward points that you can redeem for products, get early access to sales, free shipping and more. Today, I’m going to share a few of my new favorites and added to my Sephora cart as well as my go-to beauty items for March. But before we begin, if you haven’t joined Sephora’s Beauty Insider Program yet, you really should do that ASAP. You can sign up here!
Also, for a limited time, get free shipping on all orders in the US and CA with code “FREESHIPâ€!
March Sephora Favorites
Since I am spending a LOT more time at home these days, I’m using it as an opportunity to try a bunch of my recent beauty purchases and samples. I’m going to try to post as many tutorials as possible to my IGTV and answer any and all of your burning beauty questions. This month, I have several products that I cannot wait to review that are currently sitting in my online cart. Here is what you can expect to see on the pages of cristincooper.com very soon!
In My Sephora Cart
Tata Harper Spring Reset Kit For Oily/Combo Skin // I have been on Tata Harper ever since we traveled to Vermont last fall, where Tata Harper is based out of and made. This trip of products exfoliates, resurfaces and hydrates to reset oily and combination skin. Tata Haper’s products are clean but effective, sourcing the most potent natural ingredients around. This trip is formulated with fresh enzymes, clay and essential oils.
SOL DE JANEIRO Brazilian Bum Bum Cream // People go crazy over this stuff! First of all, it smells AMAZING, but you should really use the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream for its ability to improve skin elasticity and smooth the look of skin! I’m constantly repurchasing.
ISLE OF PARADISE Self Tanning Drops // Just a few drops of this liquid gold into your normal, daily lotion and you’ve got a pretty (not orangey) glow. I love that you can control your color by using more or less of the Isle of Paradise drops! I get dark self tanning drops and have these in my cart to replenish my stock!
TATCHA The Liquid Silk Canvas: Featherweight Protective Primer // I love all Tatcha’s products and can’t wait to test out this weightless, oil-free liquid version of Tatcha’s best-selling primer from this Sephora haul. Thin layers of silk and a special blend of botanical extracts act as a barrier between makeup and skin, helping to prevent clogged pores that can lead to breakouts.
PEACE OUT AHA + BHA + PHA Brightening Peel Pads // I geek out over an AHA / BHA situation and I’m stoked to try these pads from Peace Out! 10% AHA + 0.4% BHA + 2% PHA works to dissolve dead skin cell build-up and dramatically smooths your skin texture. These also contain niacinamide, a form of vitamin B that helps even out the skin tone and evodia fruit extract, an antioxidant and micro-circulation booster that drastically enhances skin luminosity.
ARMANI BEAUTY Luminous Silk Concealer // Naturally I’m looking forward to trying the best-selling concealer version of my favorite foundation. The Armani multipurpose concealer highlights and conceals while providing up to 24 hours of hydration and comfort with medium, buildable coverage and a flawless radiant finish.
SUPERGOOP! Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40 // Supergoop is my go-to pool and lake sunscreen for my face and neck. This hydrating, makeup-gripping primer is infused with hyaluronic acid and vitamin b5 which help to boost moisture in the skin, leaving your skin feeling soft and nurtured.
URBAN DECAY All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray // This is one of my favorite makeup setting sprays and is only in my cart because I desperately need a refill!!
Loving This Month
New to Me:
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick // If you are a frequent reader, then you know that I’m not a huge fan of matte lipstick as it tends to dry my lips out. Charlotte Tilbury sent me this lipstick and I will say that I am 100% impressed. This matte formula is long-lasting, buildable, and… wait for it… HYDRATING! It does not dry my lips out and apparently it has 3D glow pigments that help lips appear wider and fuller. I have it in “Pillow Talk” which I would recommend for everybody!
Becca Sunlit Bronzer // I bought this blush a couple of months ago and love the hue and the subtle shimmer. I got color Ipanema Sun so that I could wear it into the summer months.
NARS Blush // I switched up my normal blush to this NARS Blush in Torrid and am loving the coral color!
LAURA MERCIER Lip Glacé // New fancy lipgloss alert! I have this lipgloss in Bare Baby and love the shimmer, hue and texture.
Favorites Still on Rotation:
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Mini // One of the reasons I love, and I mean LOVE, Sephora is because of their mini sizes! So many of my favorite items in my beauty bag started with a harmless mini size from the Sephora checkout. If you haven’t tried out this NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer then you should snag this mini version. It is one of my favorite concealers and is a great mid-weight option for when you want coverage but want it to look natural and not be too thick. I love that it is buildable meaning that you can use it for light contouring or heavy coverage and color-correcting if needed. I wear shade “Creme-Brulee.â€
BIOSSANCE Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream // I have been using this hydrating eye cream made with Marine Algae Complex for weeks and I am loving it. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in as few as seven days. Paracress Extract lifts, smooths, and firms the look of skin, Marine Algae Complex reduces the appearance of fine lines, and Squalane locks in moisture.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask // My favorite leave-on moisturizing mask. This mask got me through several long flights this year and I use it overnight any time I am feeling dehydrated, dry or even if my skin feels like it’s on the verge of a breakout.
IT COSMETICS Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara // I go back and forth on this mascara because I have had several bottles of it dry out on me. I have determined that it is because I leave them in my car. I have kept this one in my bathroom and the application is still flawless. It makes your lashes look insanely long and thick.
BECCA Cosmetics BECCA Anti-Fatigue Under-eye Primer // After I apply skincare, I apply this primer to my under eye. It’s an anti-fatigue eye balm and primer in one that cools on contact and preps skin for smooth makeup application. Cucumber, matcha green tea and caffeine help it to smooth your skin, decrease puffiness and blur the look of fine lines.
Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer // This full-coverage, weightless, waterproof concealer with a natural finish containing tiny powders that blur and brighten for up to 16 hours! This crease-resistant liquid concealer reflects light and blends seamlessly into skin, diffusing the look of pores and fine lines. It also has a highly pigmented formula that evens skin tone and diminishes the appearance of imperfections, leaving you with a natural, airbrushed finish. I wear color, “silkâ€.
Becca Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder // A brightening setting powder that sets concealer, allowing for maximum wear. The Becca setting powder is infused with light-reflecting pearl powders that instantly blur fine lines! I love this stuff!!!
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Highlighter Wand // If I could start a fan club for this product, I totally would. I apply it to my cheek bone, the bridge of my nose, my cupid’s bow or the inner corner of the eye for a pretty glow. All of the colors are beautiful!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz // This brow liner is always always always in my arsenal. I wear shade “taupe!â€
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation // This foundation was a favorite for all of last year and ended up being a hit with you guys! I wear shade 5!
Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder // A super-fine powder that conceals and illuminates simultaneously. Rose wax and almond oil hydrate the skin throughout the day, and enable the powder to blend flawlessly. I love how it reduces shine without being too matte. I use shade Medium!
