What’s In My Makeup Bag: June

It’s been a few months since I posted a new “What’s In My Makeup Bag” probably because I’ve been wearing my March makeup favorites on repeat for the past three months. I added a few new pretties to my makeup collection and can’t wait to tell you a little bit more about each one!

Ulta Beauty Favorites from Carolina based beauty blogger, The Southern Style Guide

Too Faced Natural Eyes / NYX That’s The Point in A Bit Edgy / MAC Lipstick in Sweetie / it Cosmetics CC Bronzer / it Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores in Translucent / Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer / Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Baby / Farsali Unicorn Essence / L’Oreal Lash Paradise in Blackest Black / Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer

WHAT’S IN MY MAKEUP BAG: JUNE

Too Faced Natural Eyes – I love that this palette has oversized base shades so that you don’t run out too fast and I think all eyeshadow palettes should follow suit! Made from a coconut butter-infused formula making, these shadows are creamy and comfortable to wear. They don’t crease and have a great pigment and I really just love all of the natural colors!

L’Oreal Lash Paradise in Blackest Black – The new drugstore mascara I cannot get enough of! I’m a longtime lover of L’Oreal Mascara and this one is fantastic!!

it Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores in Translucent – I’ve been using this in lieu of my Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder and so far, I’m impressed! It’s packed with anti-aging ingredients and claims to give a true airbrushed look. I don’t know about totally airbrushed but I have noticed that it absorbs oil, reduces shine and minimized the look of pores. I also like that it doesn’t crease in my smile lines. Plus, it was developed with leading plastic surgeons, and using anti-aging ingredients including hydrolyzed collagen, and vitamins A, C, E & K and vitamins are always a plus!

MAC in Sweetie – If you’re in the market for a pretty, feminine pink that isn’t too cool then this one is for you!

Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer – Day in and day out I use this Elta MD Sunscreen for my sunscreen, moisturizer and primer. But when I’m getting ready for an evening out or want my makeup to truly last I use this Tatcha primer! This balm is made of pressed silk that smooths makeup, making it last longer while helping to prevent clogged pores and breakouts. You can use this multitasking primer made from superfoods great tea, rice and algea, on your face, eyes & lips.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof 12 Hour Concealer in Light Medium-Beige – If you’ve followed my account for awhile you are aware I had a biking accident in Hawaii that left me with a gnarly scar on my chin. I wear sunscreen daily but I also do my best to keep my scar extra concealed and covered in the sun. This concealer has been the only one that will stay put and not rub off or disappear when I sweat.

Farsali Unicorn Essence – I’m still not totally sold on this product but I’ve seen about a hundred YouTube bloggers use it. Apparently it’s a dual purpose serum that helps protect your skin while prepping it for a longer-lasting makeup application. It’s water based and not oil based so that is good for keeping your pores cleared. Plus it’s enriched with superfruit extracts loaded with antioxidants known for their anti-aging properties: a?a? berry, goji berry, elderberry, and blueberry. I’ve been mixing a few drops with my foundation and applying the mixture with a brush.

it Cosmetics CC Bronzer – If you are one of those people that only wears CC cream then you might love this one for summer! Whenever I wear my typical CC cream I feel a little matte. This product covers your imperfections, protects you from the sun and gives you an incredible glow. As I mentioned before, It’s great for your skin being packed with SPF 50+, infused with peptides, niacin, vitamins A, C, B, E, hyaluronic acid, and hydrolyzed collagen.

Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Baby – I LOVE Laura Mercier products and this lipgloss is my new favorite. In fact, I’m wearing the MAC lipstick + this lipgloss in this photo.

NYX That’s The Point in A Bit Edgy – A cheap eyeliner that is so easy to apply! It’s an angled tip so you can easily press it to your lash line for a smooth application.

Hope you enjoyed this breakdown!! Leave any questions you have below!!

I also use the IT CC Cream in Light everyday. Would I place this in the areas were I currently use my bronzer or is this applied all over the face like the regular CC Cream?
