The Fulton Lane Inn is 3-story brick hotel located on King Street and surrounded by shopping, restaurants and within walking distance to pretty much anything you want to do downtown Charleston. The building dates back to 1889 and the property recently underwent a huge renovation. The decor is crisp and modern but at the same time extremely cozy and inviting and all of the rooms and suites include en suite bathrooms, and have mini-fridges and free WiFi. Upgraded rooms add 4-poster canopy beds, whirlpool tubs and fireplaces, while suites add separate sitting rooms/areas.
The hotel’s location, amenities and style make it a desirable stay for any type of trip but what the Fulton Lane Inn really caters to are romantic getaways. In fact they offer romance packages complete with three course, wine-paired dinners at Circa 1886 Restaurant, rickshaw rides, champagne and chocolate on top of the already great amenities that the inn offers like breakfast in bed and an afternoon wine and cheese reception. If you have an anniversary or special occasion coming up and you want to escape to Charleston take my advice and book a stay at the Fulton Lane Inn.
