Flares are in. And all the pear shaped girls said amen. I still remember the first time I crammed my muscular thighs into a pair of skinny jeans. It was circa 2006 and I was going out in Charleston and I’m pretty sure I wore a dress as a tunic to help shield my hiney / thigh area just because it was so traumatic to me to draw that much attention to my caboose. There is just something about flare pant that feels like home to a girl with a curvy bottom. It balances us. It makes us whole. And let’s be honest who doesn’t feel like they could wear a floral headband, throw peace signs and be super cool rocking a great pair of flares? This AG (high-waisted) pair from Anthropologie is my favorite. They are dark, stretchy and oh-so-comfy. Paired with this ultra-lace t-shirt peplum top and this outfit is a new mom’s dream.
