Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Haul

Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Haul

If you’ve followed my makeup obsession for any amount of time you know I’m somewhat of a raging fan of Charlotte Tilbury. I first learned of the line in early 2018 when I read an article on the release of her Beauty Wand. In the summer of 2018 I was invited to participate in a makeup challenge (that I didn’t win) with the brand to celebrate the launch of Charlotte Tilbury at Sephora. In the fall of 2018 I attended Sephoria in L.A. where I got to attend a makeup class with Charlotte Tilbury and even got the chance to meet her! I love her products, love watching her tutorials and really love that she is a makeup artist by trade.

About Charlotte Tilbury

Born in London, Charlotte Tilbury has worked as a world-renowned makeup artist for celebrities and models for decades. She lives and breaths makeup and created her own line in 2014 after noticing a lack of products in the marketplace that were not only beautiful and high-quality but that also helped improve your skin! Her looks are iconic, illuminated and all-around breathtaking and her products are as luxurious as they come. She believes that if you have a beautiful canvas then you will have a beautiful painting and every product in her line is focused on creating a beautiful, flawless, airbrushed appearance that radiates light, improves your skin and helps you look and feel your best. I mean sign me up. Here is a look at the makeup products that I love from Charlotte Tilbury!

COMPLETE CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAKEUP HAUL

PALETTES

INSTANT LOOK PALETTE // I don’t own this palette but I have coveted it for a year give or take so I included it! It contains 7 shades for the ultimate smoky eye including a highlighter for your cheekbones and a blush! If you love a smoky eye or want a great palette for date nights or events look no further!

GLOWING SKIN PALETTE // If you are overwhelmed with all of the options this palette is a great place to start! This palette includes a powder, bronzer, blush and highlighter! The powder is actually the airbrush flawless finish in 2 medium which is what I wear!

PRIME & PREP

MAGIC CREAM // Ok I can’t say enough good things about this product as a moisturizer to prep your skin for makeup! I heard Charlotte talk at Sephoria about how she created this product for the celebrities and models to help them not look jet-lagged or tired and to give them a dewy, glowy complexion. It’s a patented, anti-aging, hydrating cream that stimulates collagen production, fights free radicals and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles. You apply it sweeping outward and upward to stimulate circulation. She also says that you should tap on your cheeks and under your eyes to help with puffiness and to massage your forehead with circular motions while applying. You would still follow with a primer after this step!

MAGIC EYE RESCUE // Like the magic cream, this magic eye rescue is a must! I use it as a base to my concealer. Charlotte spent over 20 years perfecting this formula and it contains bontanicals to brighten dark circles; saccharide isomerate that smooths and firms; Winter Daphne Stem Cell Extract to improve texture, firmness and elasticity; and retinol which boosts the rejuvenation of skin cells and increases collagen. It also contains Red algae to strengthen and protects your under-eye skin, bionymph peptide to increase collagen and a coconut oil and shea butter mix with vitamins A, C and E to sooth and moisturize. It is jam packed with good-for-you ingredients and you will tell a difference on your under-eyes!

WONDERGLOW FACE PRIMER // This is one of my top 3 favorite primers! It contains collagen-boosting peptides and gives your skin an illuminated glow without being drying, sticky or too thick! The formula blends seamlessly and blurs away lines.

YOUTH GLOW PRIMER // I used every last drop of this Charlotte Tilbury primer which is why it’s not pictured above. I don’t know what kind of science it involves but it color-corrects on contact to reduce redness and pigmentation, help with dark shadows and brighten skin. If you wanted something that you could wear with just a little concealer and powder I would choose this over the Wonder Glow due to the color-correcting properties.

HOLLYWOOD FLAWLESS FILTER // While I prefer the combination of Wonder Glow and Magic foundation, some people like this product because it can be used as a primer, foundation or highlighter.

FACE

MAGIC FOUNDATION // After much consideration I think I’m ready to commit in writing that this Charlotte Tilbury foundation is at the top of my list. It has vitamin C to fight aging & free radicals, hyaluronic acid to boost hydration and plump skin and mushroom extract to tighten pores!! I’m in a shade 5 and I absolutely love how it covers, how it feels and how good is stays put!

MAGIC AWAY CONCEALER // This is my go-to concealer when I don’t want something as full-coverage as Shape Tape. It’s water-resistant, lasts for 15 hours and helps to cover redness and pigmentation like a champ!

MAGIC POWDER // This ultra-fine, paraben-free setting powder blurs imperfections and reduces shine. It’s a light-diffusing, soft powder blurs your imperfections and helps to mattify your skin without being chalky or thick. I love that it’s made with veggie powder instead of talc since talc is terrible for your pores. I also love that it contains brightening bio-mimetic mica, amino acids to help improve the texture of your skin and tsukai oil, a Japanese oil that is a fast-absorbing mositurizer. It also cotains squalene which is a natural olive oil derivative that helps to soften your skin. I wear the shade, medium.

HEALTHY GLOW TINTED MOISTURIZER // This unisex product is pretty much magic in a bottle. It comes out clear and morphs to your skin tone on contact. It has encapsulated chameleon natural tan pigments that activate upon application, and once blended, the different tones deliver a natural color result based on your skin. This is an excellent tinted moisturizer for summer!

FLAWLESS FINISH SETTING POWDER // If you look in my purse at any given moment you will find this compact. It’s a super-fine powder that conceals and illuminates simultaneously. Rose wax and almond oil hydrate the skin throughout the day and enable the powder to blend flawlessly and I love how it reduces shine without being too matte.

LIPS

COLLAGEN LIP BATH // This product has been a staple in my bag since I bought it! It’s a hybrid lip enhancer that moisturizes your lips with marine collagen and softens them with coconut oil. There is a shimmery pigment that reflects the light helping your lips look fuller and peppermint extract that cools on contact.

KISSING LIPSTICK // I don’t love having to swear on Instagram to pronounce this one but “Bitch Perfect” is the best color!! This lipstick is also enriched with antioxidants and blended with special waxes for all-day wear.

HOT LIPS LIPSTICK // My second favorite lipstick is the Hot Lips Lipstick in color “KIM K”. It’s the perfect nude lip and looks great with the COLLAGEN LIP BATH.

LIP CHEAT LIP LINER // I wear “Pillow Talk” in this velvety liner that allows you to resize your lips in a cynch. It’s called a lip-cheat because you can over-line your lips and it won’t move thanks to the no-smudge, waterproof formula.

EYES

PILLOWTALK EYESHADOW PALETTE // I bought this eyeshadow palette after Charlotte Tilbury used it during the Victorias’ Secret show last year! It has the prettiest, natural mauves and pinks and you can use it to create daytime looks to evening looks. All of the instructions for where to use which color are on the back and you can also get the info in the product information section. It’s one of my all-time favorite Charlotte Tilbury makeup products.

Charlotte Tilbury Eye Palette Review

LUXURY EYESHADOW PALETTE // Another one of my top products from Charlotte Tilbury are these eyeshadow palettes. Honestly you don’t need a huge eyeshadow palette because the average person will use the same 2-4 colors on repeat. These palettes not only have unbeatable pigments but they are so easy to use! My favorite color is The Dolce Vita followed by The Golden Goddess.

CREAM EYESHADOW // I haven’t tried this product yet but I just ordered it from Sephora in the color “Jean”. I’m excited to use it across my eyelid to enhance my shadows.

CHAMELEON EYESHADOW PENCIL // I love a chunky eyeshadow pencil and this one does not dissapoint! The color is long-lasting and will stay in place all day! I have it in bronzed garnet which is technically for green eyes but I love how it makes my blue/grey eyes a little more grey/green.

LIQUID EYELINER // Charlotte’s signature feline flick cat-eye is created using this pen. It glides on smooth and sets quickly to avoid smudging. Make sure to fix any mistakes quickly though because it lasts for up to 14 hours!

EYELINER PENCIL // This waterproof eye pencil glides on like a liquid and melts into your skin, staying in play for up to 14 hours. Crushed pearl powder stimulates collagen and hydrates the surface of your lid. For application tips click here.

LEGENDARY LASHES MASCARA // When a mascara says it delivers 500% more volume to lashes then it better be buildable! This one is and it layers perfectly without getting chunky allowing you to create thick, long, lashes. It’s long wearing, smudge-proof and humidity-resistant.

HIGHLIGHT & CONTOUR

BEAUTY LIGHT WAND // The beauty wand is the one Charlotte Tilbury makeup product I could never live without. It highlights without making you look glittery and the rose-golden color suits an array of skin tones. I apply it to my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, on the inner corners of my eyes and on my cupid’s bow.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Highlighter Wand at Sephora

COUNTOUR WAND // This buildable contour wand is perfect for contouring your nose! You can also “follow the hollow” and contour your cheeks or add contouring to the sides of your forehead but just make sure to blend well!

CHEEK TO CHIC BLUSH // I wear color “Love is the drug” in this two-step blush. I love the natural colors and how it illuminates your skin with no glitter thanks to light flex technology that captures light and re-emits it! The center color is used on the apples of your cheeks to make them “pop” and then the outer color is used to blend up your cheekbone!

BRONZE & GLOW CONTOUR DUO // If you want to purchase one compact for highlighting and contouring this would be a great one! The golden tones match a variety of skin tones and it’s easy to apply if the wands are intimidating. Use the Sculpt bronzer along the lower cheek, jawline and sides of the nose and use the Highlight to illuminate the top of cheekbones, bridge of the nose, under your eyebrow and cupid’s bow.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAKEUP BRUSHES

POWDER AND SCULPT BRUSH // I am obsessed with this brush! It has the perfect tapered edges for setting your under-eyes and applying powder to your T-zone. I also love that the barrel is tapered and won’t roll of your counter.

COMPLEXION BRUSH // This is another brush that I have used non-stop. It’s a synthetic bristle with a large flat head for flawless base application and a small head perfect for contouring, concealing under your eyes or around your nose!

MY TOP 5 MUST-HAVE ITEMS

If I were only going to buy 5 Charlotte Tilbury products it would without a doubt be the BEAUTY LIGHT WAND first and foremost. I would also include the MAGIC FOUNDATION and then FLAWLESS FINISH SETTING POWDER because I think they are the best foundation and powder on the market right now. I would also include the PILLOWTALK EYESHADOW PALETTE because I think the colors are unique and just so good together that it would be hard to find dupes. Lastly, I think I would have to go with the MAGIC EYE RESCUE because I’m a little addicted to under-eye moisturizers and it just feels so good on your skin!

NEW ITEMS I WANT TO TRY

Now let’s chat about the Charlotte Tilbury makeup I want to try. We’ve already mentioned the INSTANT LOOK PALETTE but I’m also dying to try her new GLOWGASM FACE PALETTE and the GLOWGASM BEAUTY WANDS. I don’t know how anything will rival the Light Want but I’m curious. I also have my eye on the LIP LUSTER GLOSS, the SHEET MASK and the CLAY MASK!

I love reading your reviews because they’re so honest and I truly feel like I know what to expect when I buy something you’ve recommended. I’ll definitely be adding a bunch of these to my list. I think my favorite CT product is the Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder. It’s crazy to think a setting powder could be my favorite item since all of her stuff is so amazing but I have to say I can’t live without it. The Beauty Light Wand is definitely my next purchase, I can’t believe I still haven’t tried it yet!

  13. Brandi Coatney says:

The Sephora by me doesn’t carry her products. Is there a good way to figure out color match for foundation and concealer since I can’t try in store? Loved your breakdown of each product!

  17. Amanda Wyatt says:

  18. Sarah Gregory says:

Thank you for writing this!!!! I just bought her loose blurring powder and love it and want to try more. Her stuff seems pricey compared to other makeup. What’s the one product that is worth the investment if I only could buy one?

  19. Cristin!
You must try ‘Super Sexy’ KISSING lipstick- to die for! I went to Nordstrom in Houston to try the new ‘glowgasm’ wands and walked out with the peach wand AND the palate. The eye cream is now on my shopping list. Thanks for such a detailed blog!

Thanks so much for this post! So informative!

  23. Donna Thrower says:

I’m newly obsessed with Charlotte tilbury too! I got into her makeup when I saw how gorgeous Amal Clooney looks and her makeup artist is none other than Charlotte Tilbury. I’ve gone a little nuts on her products, and I bought everything and love it but I’m confused on the Hollywood flawless filter – I bought it to try as a highlighter but not sure if I noticed much when I did that. Thanks for this post!

  24. Cheri McKinney says:

I’m so glad you did this. I love her foundation and concealer, but I’ve been so curious about the eye cream and magic cream. I guess those are my next to get.

  25. Allyson Tutwiler says:

I’ve never tried her products but after reading this I would love to try the Pillow Talk palette and the Beauty Light Wand!! I’m pregnant with my first baby so anything to make me feel pretty right now is a plus!!

  26. Rose Boozer says:

How do you keep the under eye creases/build up from happening with you use your concealer? I’m 32 and not *that* wrinkly and yet still get that awful looking build up with the magic away (and every other under eye concealer)!

  27. Amy SomAini says:

I’ve been dying to try the magic foundation and beauty light wand! It’s gokng to be my next purchase!

I’m getting married in August outside…yes insane I know! What primer and finishing spray would you recommend so my makeup doesn’t melt off! Any other sweat proof ideas?

Thanks for your always real posts and recommendations!

  28. MeRedith Martin says:

  29. Susan says:

Ok I am really believing you love some Charlotte Tillbury ?. Here’s my question: is there aver a discount or sale on her products?

  30. Lauren nordin says:

I am in the Columbia area and wish Sephora would carry these products in store so I can go try. Someone told me they are coming to Charolette? Correct?

  31. Amanda V says:

I want to try so many of CT’s products. I love how you narrowed it down to top 5 products based on all that you’ve used. I really want to try the beauty light wand. I have realized that I am not the type of person that can just buy ONE thing. I am going to have to break the bank and try the magic foundation and possibly setting powder. I’ve heard so many good things about the powder. Only con is that it goes fast! This tired mama needs all the help she can get!

  32. Laura says:

I am becoming a CT fan, thanks for sharing about all of these great products! I recently switched to the magic foundation and I LOVE it, and I tried a sample of the magic cream and now I’m just dying to buy it as well as the contour wand.

  36. Erin lozowski says:

I have seen all of your Charlotte Tilbury posts and have been dying to try the Beauty Light Wand but after reading this post I am so excited to try all of your Top 5.

My only question is with using a compact powder to set makes up. I have only ever used a loose powder. Is the pressed powder better than a loose for setting makeup or is this one just that awesome?

Also, everything you mention that I have tried has been golden! Can’t wait to try these out now.

  37. Laura Carr says:

Thank you for this post! It was awesome – I am new to the world of Charlotte Tilbury and so far loving her products! Her concealer has been a lifesaver for me. Bonus, my daughter’s name is Charlotte so I think I am just meant to be a fan. I really love your instra-stories where you are putting on your make to see how the products look/goes on and it’s been very helpful. I am eyeing her eyeshadow palettes as I think I would get a lot of use out of them!

  38. April Z says:

Love that mascara and setting powder too! Oh, and of course the Magic Cream! Discovered CT when we were overseas, the absolute best! I would love to try the eye cream and the instant look Pallete! Love this post!

  39. Mandy ThomaS says:

I would love to know how you get your makeup to last and be glory! I have oily skin but really want a glow but now oily look. Loved that you went into detail about each product and didn’t just list them. I really want to try out the wonder glow primer. I have heard it works well on all skin types. Thanks again for the detailed post!!

  40. Elizabeth Alqueza says:

I have loved learning more about Charlotte Tilbury. I also love the beauty highlighter wand, lip cheat in pillow talk and lip gloss over it in sweet stiletto!
I’d love to try some of the foundation and concealer in the future!

Always love following your makeup recommendations. I cannot wait to try to the beauty light wand. It was sold out after the Sephora sale. Sad day! Her brushes you featured in your insta video also looked amazing. In regards to her eyeshadow, do you prefer hers over the naked palette you love?

How do you figure out what your skin tones are so you can best choose the foundation color? The shade finder on Sephora didn’t have my current makeup brand I use so it wasn’t helpful. Any tips on that? Don’t like looking orange or pinkc?

I bought the highlighter per your recommendation and I have a lip stick. I use Nars concealer but I think I want to try CT!

  75. Chandler BrYant says:

I got the contour wand during the Sephora sale… obsessed!!

I typically use shape tape for concealer… super dark circles. But in the summer months I find that it looks really drying/ cakey. Is the wonder away concealer less “drying”?

Love this post so much. So detailed!! I know nothing about makeup so it is so helpful! I want to try the contour wand and the setting powder!! Any tips on how to keep mascara from running under your eyes? I usually resemble a raccoon by 2 pm. Thanks so much!!

  80. ABBY says:

Love, love, love this post! I have been eyeing Charlotte Tilbury for close to two years, but on a early 20’s budget wanted to be sure I got the products that would work best for my needs/budget. You are a queen for giving so much detail on each product and why you like it. I think I am going to start my collection with lip products!

  81. Maria Kensey says:

I immediately bought all the things when you talked about them in your stories a few months ago. I LOVE the highlighting wand and the magic primer. I’m not a makeup person- or so I thought! LOL

  82. Sloan evans says:

Love CT products too and have been dying to try the foundation and the beauty light wand. I hate that they don’t carry her products in most of the Sephora stores so i can sample them 🙂 I may just have to bite the bullet after reading your post! Love reading your reviews of beauty products!

  83. Brittany Hannon says:

Never use Charlotte Tilbury but these products sound amazing! I don’t wear makeup often, but when I do I try to make sure it’s doing good for my skin while I have it on. Definitely want to give the collagen lip bath and the healthy glow a try!

  84. Stacy Lenarcic says:

Fantastic post! Just bought so many of your suggestions. Thanks for putting so much time into this review!

  85. Jessica says:

Love the descriptions of what is great about each product. My Sephora doesn’t carry in store. What’s the best way you’ve found to buy the right shade(s) online?

  86. KathErine says:

Love your roundup! So many products that I can’t wait to try but have to space out purchases because of my budget. I currently own and love the blush and setting powder you posted about. Hands down best setting powder I have tried!

  87. I love your breakdown of each product! It’s so hard to pick 1 (or 5) things to try! ??‍♀️

Is there a good way to figure out color match for foundation and concealer?

  88. Sarah says:

My favorite post to date! I love all of your beauty recommendations especially the CT ones! I am definitely going to order the Magic Foundation after reading this post! I bought the GloGasam palette and it is gorgeous! You have to get it! Thanks for putting this together!!!

Dolce Vita is next on the list. I’m also hoping she comes out with some other Instant Look in a Palettes. If love one for travel. Can you tell I’m a little obsessed with CT too? Thanks for this roundup!

  98. Pam Krafft says:

  105. Rachael Bloomer says:

Thank you for taking the time to write this thorough post! I have heard so much about Charlotte Tilbury Products recently, it’s great to understand the differences between the different products. I have tried her face powder and love it. Next up I want to try the lip colors you raved about! Thanks again!

  106. Tierney says:

I would love to try some of these products! I’m most curious about the flawless filter powder. I saw it doesn’t come with a brush–do you carry a separate brush in your purse for touch ups? I’d also love to try the Magic Cream and the Glowing Face palette. Basically, I want to try everything!

  107. Michelle Keller says:

I want to try it all…especially the items you are giving away and even more so the powders! For some reason my Sephora doesn’t carry CT in store and it is a full size store. Are the products only available online and in bigger markets? Headed to ATL in a few weeks and plan to check there!

And the eye shadow palettes are gorgeous! I loved the sophisticate. I mean I added pretty much the whole post to my Nordstrom wish list. My face would looove to try them all out.?

  112. Danell says:

Have seen the products in social media but LOVE that you did a review of your faves and why. Would love if you included a pic of each item individually somewhere within the post but certainly not a deal breaker. Love your blog and thanks for sharing with us!

Thank you! I cannot wait to try a few of these products. I think I will start with the concealer if I can find the right shade.

  114. Adrienne says:

I’m a teacher and always buy myself a little “Summer Sursie” at the end of school…like “Yay! I made it through another year!” I’m going to order the Beauty Light Wand and give it a try! Or maybe the Tinted Moisturizer – or BOTH! :o) Thanks for sharing your tips.

  115. claire says:

  116. LEANN woodall says:

I enjoy following you and always love the products you suggest! Although I’m a makeup junkie, I have yet to try ANY of these products. I’m most interested in the prep and prime products and appreciate your suggestions on how important the prepping steps are. Thanks for a great post! I bought the light wand during the Sephora sale, and excited to try it. Now I’m even more excited to try some of her other products! The cream eyeshadow and the magic powder are on my list to try next! As well as the magic cream.

  119. Traci Thatcher says:

I’m just beginning to love CT products! I use the Wonderglow face primer and the Lip Cheat pencils. They are both perfect! I mix the primer with my IT CC cream for a lighter application on less makeup days. I would love the Instant Look Palette and the Bronze and Glow Highlighter Duo. Thanks for the post.

  120. Jess says:

I have been using the Goddess Cleansing Ritual and I love it! I get a facial once a month and she said she could tell a difference in my skin, the skin tone was more even and I have way less breakouts. I am a huge fan and stocked up on more during the Sephora sale!

  124. Beth says:

I’m a big fan of the magic concealer, and I just bought the bronze & glow duo. How do you apply the Magic Foundation? Brush? BeautyBlender? Fingers?

  125. Nicole starbuck says:

Thank you for your helpful tips and honesty in your posts and IG stories! I purchased a few of your must haves, but I’d love to be gifted a lip cheat in pillow talk! I didn’t pull the trigger in that one yet!

    Cheers!
    Nicole in sunny Tampa, FL!

  126. Ashley says:

Great post, Cristin! I can’t wait to try the brand.

  127. Catherine says:

  128. Nichole mort says:

I love how honest you are! Now I’m really wanting to try the Youth Glow Primer, as well as a few other things!?

  129. Meg says:

Loved your post! I have a question about the flawless finish setting powder. Do you use this all over your face or just under eyes? I saw another blogger say she only uses it on her T zone, applying with a beauty blender, and then used another setting powder to set the rest of her make up. Thanks!

  130. Haley estes says:

Currently wanting to buy all of her products after reading this! I think i am going to have to try the Beauty light wand & the youth glow prime first though! I love love love this post- so helpful!

  136. Carey says:

Hey! Love this post. I’m new to “focusing” on my makeup (even though I’m over 40), and I am definitely interested in Charlotte Tilbury – thx for the informative post It was great information but not too overwhelming. I have subscribed to receive your emails, but I didn’t get an email about this post – I just looked it up.

Question – how often do you wash your makeup brushes and what do you use?

    Thx!

  137. Brittany L says:

I love Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup! Her Flawless Finish Setting Powder is a holy grail product! I would love to try her beauty light wand. Also thanks to this post I have a few other products to try.

Magic Cream has been in my lust list!!

  141. Waverly says:

I LOVED how you wrote this post — thank you for making it super easy by categorizing and then prioritizing which ones are your must-haves… for those of us who are slowly but surely overhauling our beauty bags, it makes purchasing items so much easier! THANK YOU!

  142. Sara Doyle says:

I love how thorough you are in the post. You gave a review on all of the products and then summed it up at the end. Nice and concise for my hectic mom/work schedule. I would love to try the Beauty Light Wand. Thank for all that you do! I love reading the blog and Instagram!

  143. Jordan says:

  144. Heather says:

Love this post! I love Charlotte Tilbury lip products but have not ventured much from that in her line. I am very intrigued by her skin care since I’ve heard nothing but amazing things.

  145. Monica dickerson says:

Thank you for doing this post! I was so excited to learn more about CT products and have her Concealer and the Light Wand in my Sephora basket ready to pull the trigger so i certainly will!

I absolutely LOVED this post! I love that you described every product and how to use it. My favorite Charlotte Tilbury product is the Flawless Finish Setting Powder. I look so forward to watching your instastories and reading your blog! Thanks!

  147. Justine says:

Thanks for all the info! I just ordered the pillow talk eye shadow pallet. I hate spending money on eye shadow pallets with colors I will not touch! This is a perfect solution.

Love your blog! I cannot thank you enough for introducing me to IT cosmetics CC cream. Life saver!!!

  148. Stefani h says:

I got the Magic Away concealer recently, wanting something a bit lighter than Shape Tape, and I am in love! The magic cream and primers are top of my next to try list!

  150. Kristina says:

I’ve been wanting to try Charlotte Tilbury products for so long, and now with a three-week-old baby and 3 1/2 year-old at home with me, I need anything that promises “glow,” “magic” or “beauty” haha!

  151. Danielle Jeter says:

I LOVE all things CT!! I’ve been using her products since early 2018 and I can say that almost everything I use on a daily basis is CT. I think your top 5s are spot on. You should definitely try the clay mask. It’s amazing!

  152. Ann Risler says:

This is a fabulous post! You will love “Jean” as an alternative to the highlighting wand. I don’t find I waste as much. But I do love that wand. I have a lot of her products, including the loose powder and while I love the finish, it has this “off” smell. And the funny thing is, I don’t remember it having that smell at Nordstrom’s when I tried it, so maybe I got a bad one?

  153. Hayley says:

This post is amazing! The Pillow Talk lip liner is the only lip liner I use. My biggest tip is to outline your entire top and bottom lip because it makes your lipstick stay. Thank you for sharing!

  154. Nicole says:

Oh girl, I have been WAITING for this post!
I really want to try the Wonderglow Primer and the Beauty Light Wand! I have been so nervous to try highlighters,in fear of looking like a glittery greasy hot mess, but your makeup ALWAYS looks so fresh, like beautiful skin!

I’m excited to try the beauty wand and I’m curious about the eyeshadow palettes!! As a mom of twin toddlers and a new baby, I appreciate your humor and your makeup tutorials!

  157. Jessica Shumaker says:

Do you use the magic light wand and contour wand on top or under foundation? And are they easy to use for novices at contouring? I don’t have any CT yet, but I keep seeing people talk about it and I think I’m going to have to try it! The foundation , concealer and setting powder sound amazing too. Thanks! Love your posts and following you on Instagram!

  158. Sarah Kilgore says:

Thanks for the detailed post! It would make my week to win this! I’m dying to try the Wonderglow primer and the magic cream but have been hesitant to take the plunge due to the price tag! Excited to discover the magic that is Charlotte Tilbury!

  159. Misty says:

How does the foundation hold up to oily skin?

  160. Kelly morgan says:

The magic cream…something you might use alone if you’re having a good face day and giving your face a makeup break?
Sheet masks…curious to see your review of the CT one and overall are they just for short terms results?

  161. Genee Derks says:

Thank you for the post! I now have to try the foundation!

  162. Genee derks says:

What shade do you use of the magic concealer?

  163. I appreciate you sharing your extensive Charlotte collection.. especially your insights. I’m just starting and find the multiple choices in same categories very confusing…like the primers.
I’ve been searching for a replacement for the sorely missed Tanzania in Sue Devitt’s Eye Intensifiers. The Bronze Garnet may be it!
My request is for more info on her skin care. What do you think of her cleansers? I have the Balm…but my jury is still out.
Thank you for your input…and I look forward to more sharing about the great Charlotte!

  164. Heather Bonner says:

I want to try the beauty wand highlighter but I’m worried I’ll overdo it. Or look like I’m trying too hard.
Also, how do you organize all of your makeup?

  165. Marisa Williamson says:

I really want to try the magic cream!! I have the highlighter from your recommendation and love it!!

  166. Pam says:

Is the powdered blush ok for “older skin”?

  167. Andrea Morrison says:

Thanks for reviewing all of your faves- I’m adding them all to my wish list!! I trust your opinion on all things beauty related!

  168. NicolE bEntley says:

  174. Lindsey DickSON says:

LOVED this post. Have never tried Charlotte Tilbury, but would be crazy not to want to after a post like this! I think the first two on my list would be the Beauty Light Wand and the Magic Away Concealer. Oh gosh, and the two-tone blush. You make it all sound so good!

  175. Selena Anderson says:

I read some where that using a setting powder can make you appear older. Is this a step I should skip or use a setting spray instead? I don’t need any help looking older.

  176. Jennifer says:

I love her Hollywood Flawless Filter and would love to try more CT products!! Thanks for all the CT info!!

  177. Emily says:

I’m so happy you introduced me to Charlotte Tilbury Products! I started with the instant look palette as a treat to myself and quickly started adding more and more and I’ve never felt better about how my makeup looks. My fav is def the Filmstar bronze and glow – it makes me look alive without making me look like a cast member of Jersey Shore circa 2008. Can’t wait to continue adding your recommendations to my collection!

  178. Miranda c says:

Love this detail! Can’t wait to try out her foundation! Thank you for listing your ‘must haves’! These are definitely an investment. How does the lipstick wear throughout the day?

I’ve been on the fence about trying a lot of her products because my skin is so sensitive to products — but, now my Sephora cart is $261. 🙂 Thank you for the time you took creating this post. I love everything about this brand- the packaging, the colors, the whole “glow-y” concept! I really want to try the pillow talk eye shadow palette and the magic concealer.
