Happy Monday Friends! Today I want to talk about my go-to outfit for transitioning into fall when the days are still warm but the nights get a little chilly. I live in Flat Rock, NC right over the SC/NC line but I spend many of my days down in Greenville, SC. Since I’m constantly changing elevations I need outfits that transition with me. For early fall I love to wear a great pair of flares with some comfy block heels and a easy breezy tunic. This tunic is one I have been wearing on repeat because I can’t get enough of the thin fabric and longer length. It’s currently sold out but I’m going to link it anyways incase it comes back in stock. You can find a similar look here or here.

Today I’m talking about subjects near and dear to my heart, style, tailgating and the Clemson Tigers. Click on through to see all of my picks for this season and helpful tricks when searching for tailgating apparel, no matter what team you cheer for.

You know what makes me sad? That mustard yellow is among Pantone’s top 10 colors for fall. I don’t know about you but mustard yellow is no friend of mine. In fact I could probably name one person mustard does something for. If you love this retro color and wear it frequently please comment in the posts below so that I can look you up on instagram and change my mind about it. Until then I’ll be stocking my closet full of another one of Pantone’s colors for fall, Dusty Cedar. I will admittedly say that Pantone could have picked a prettier name for this hue so we will collectively refer to it as dusty coral for simplicity’s sake. This color is a nod to 2016, aka the year of rosé, and Pantone’s co-color of the year, Rose Quartz.
