My monthly Sephora hauls are one of my favorite blog posts to write and share. Last month I shared some of my favorite products of all time from Sephora. For this month’s haul, I’m sharing the top 15 beauty finds out of all of the new products I tried from Sephora in 2020. I review and test a lot of beauty products from a lot of companies, so consider this list a best of the best roundup!Â
Before we get into the makeup, skincare and tools, I wanted to let you know that Saturday December 19, Sephora Beauty Insiders have the chance to win a Sephora gift card with their purchase either in-store or online. Each Sephora brick and mortar store will have one $100 gift card winner and 100 $10 gift card winners. If you make your purchase online, the same odds apply. Make sure to sign up to become a Sephora Beauty Insider if you haven’t already! Sephora is also offering free standard shipping until the end of the year with code FREESHIP. The last day to order with free shipping to arrive by Christmas Eve is 12/17!
Best Sephora Skincare of 2020
Bobbi Brown Instant Detox Hawaiian Sea Water & White Clay Face Mask // If you struggle with acne, I would recommend a weekly detox mask. This clay mask by Bobbi Brown thoroughly cleanses pores, removing impurities, pollutants, and excess oil without stripping skin. You can use it after dermaplaning, once a week during a bath or just whenever you are feeling like your skin needs a good deep clean. Hawaiian sea water and Amazonian White Clay help extract toxins and impurities while sea salt and Sea water help remove pore-clogging debris and excess oil from skin.
Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm // This is a great lip mask for dehydrated lips. I put it under skincare, because I apply it at night. But, you can wear this during the day.
Tata Harper Clarifying AHA + BHA Mask // This is one of the best clarifying masks I have tried! I have been on Tata Harper ever since we traveled to Vermont last fall, where Tata Harper is based out of and made. Tata Harper’s products are clean but effective, sourcing the most potent natural ingredients around. You could sample a few of her top items in this daily essentials kit.
Top Sephora Makeup Finds of 2020
Tarte Fake Awake Liner // I love this liner for the inside corner of my eyes! I’m wearing it in these photos, and you can see how it just makes your eyes look alert and awake.
ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara // This is probably one of my top 3 Sephora beauty finds of the entire year. I have never found a clean mascara that remotely works, much less one that gives you insane lashes! I am wearing this one with a primer because I always use a primer under my mascara.Â
NARS – Matte Bronzer Powder // I discovered this matte bronzer in “Laguna†and love the hue and how well it wears. It’s not shimmery or orange and gives you a golden sun-kissed glow!
Hourglass Veilâ„¢ Setting Spray // Hourglass, along with Lawless, is one of my favorite brands of 2020. This ultra-fine, water-resistant mist hydrates and sets makeup for up to 24 hours for a visibly radiant, blurred finish. I have been using it in combination with this primer and am so impressed with the way my makeup applies and stays in place in the summer heat!
LAWLESS Satin Luxe Classic Cream Lipstick // I LOVE this lipstick! It’s clean and has the best hues. I’m wearing “baby†in these photos, but I also have “Fawn†and “Annie†and wear them frequently.
Hourglass Ambient® Lighting Powder // This is the powder I have been wearing for months. I wear shade “Luminous Light†and find that it sets my makeup without making my face look cakey.
Hourglass Vanishâ„¢ Seamless Finish Foundation Stick // I’m on a journey for foundation sticks and this one is the best that I have found. I wear “beige†in the summer and just ordered “nude†to try. Side note, Sephora’s foundation finder is typically spot-on for me!
My Favorite Hair Care Products of 2020
IGK – Styling Essentials Set // Specifically the Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Anti-Frizz Smoothing Spray. It’s a heat-protectant blowout spray that gives you frizz-free shine for 24 hours. I use it every time I curl my hair!
Kerastase – Fresh Affair Refreshing Dry Shampoo // This dry shampoo is AMAZING! It smells incredible, is lightweight, not sticky and works to instantly absorb oil with up to 24 hours of fragrance. It also contains Vitamin E to nourish your hair and scalp as it works!
Drybar Double Shot Blow-Dry Brush // I bought this to review against other blow-dry brushes and several months later, I am still using it when I need to quickly dry and style my hair. Unlike other blow-dryer brushes out there, it also evenly distributes the heat with strategically-placed vents allowing for a smooth blowout with a ton of volume in less time. A combination of nylon and tufted bristles allow for the perfect amount of tension and control, without pulling your hair. I was impressed by how lightweight this tool is, how it glided over my hair and how it dried my hair in no-time.
Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blastâ„¢ // This is also a great dry shampoo that will give your hair insane volume. Unlike the Kerastase though, this one leaves a sticky residue. The good news is that it gives you volume like crazy, the downside is that you won’t be able to run your fingers easily through your hair. If you have very thin hair and want it to look thicker, this would be a great Sephora find for you!
New Sephora Finds for December
It wouldn’t be a monthly Sephora haul if I didn’t feature a few new finds! Here are the items I’m eyeing on Sephora and a few kits that would make excellent last-minute gifts for someone!
BECCA Cosmetics 3 Steps To Bright Eyes Set // This is a GREAT kit for only $39. It includes the Anti-Fatigue under eye primer, Under Eye Brightening Corrector, and Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder that I wear daily. Sometimes I forego the brightening corrector, but I really love it in the winter as it’s super hydrating. I apply the primer, the corrector if needed, my concealer and then the setting powder. If you want a few more affordable kits this LANEIGE Set is $19, this Charlotte Tilbury kit is a great buy, and this Living Proof set is only $12!! This BECCA kit is another great Sephora find for only $15.Â
Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Peel. Glow. Be Merry. // This kit includes the best-selling at home daily peels that exfoliates the skin while reducing visible signs of aging. After using the peel, layer the serum and the cream to hydrate the skin and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I love these peels and used them exclusively for a long time. I would highly recommend them and think they are the best daily exfoliating pads at Sephora.
Farmacy House of Gold // I can’t wait to try this one. It’s a limited-edition holiday gift set with the honeymoon glow serum that gently exfoliates dead skin cells and smooths the skin, the Honey Halo face mask to hydrate & a Honey Potion moisturizer that rehydrates and prevents moisture loss.
NEST New York Holiday & Birchwood Pine PURA Diffuser Set // Did you know that Sephora carries NEST?!?! I am very excited about this find because I love racking up those Sephora Beauty Insider points! PURA is a smart home fragrance diffuser that lets you control the preferences on the Pura diffuser from anywhere with your phone. We love ours and NEST are some of my favorite fragrances.Â
Briogeo Detox + Restore Kit ft. Scalp Revival Scalp Scrub Shampoo + Don’t Despair Repair Hair Mask // This is one of the best hair masks I have used and now it comes in a duo to maintain a healthy scalp and hair. If you have a flaky scalp or hair breakage the key benefits of the duo will soothe irritated scalp and remove build up and restore moisture to damaged hair.
OLEHENRIKSEN Happy Juice Set // I’ve been seeing these products all over and I am looking forward to testing it out. This set features a Daily Cleanser, Vitamin C Serum, Brightening Gel Crème, and Banana Bright Eye Crème. It claims to make your skin visibly brighter, more plump and illuminating!Â
