If you’re in Upstate SC or Western NC and are look for a yummy spot to grab brunch this Saturday, or Sunday, or Monday, or any day that ends in y…. then head on over to Tandem Creperie! I could just end this blog post with the fact that they serve STRAWBERRY NUTELLA WAFFLES but because of my love for coffee, crepes and cuteness I will go on! Tandem is located on Main Street in Travelers Rest, SC which is a uber-cute little town just a hop, skip and a jump away from Greenville.
It’s impossible not to walk in the doors of Tandem and immediately be happier. The space is abounding in natural light, has cheery yellow accents everywhere and is filled with fresh flowers, sweet smells and friendliness. There is an outside screened in porch if you care to dine al fresco (you know I do) and they hands-down have the best coffee, waffles and crepes around. If you’re more of a savory person get the Lumberjack and if you’re a sweets type the Blueberry Cream Crepes and the Banana & Chocolate Waffles are ah-ma-zing. In the event it’s strawberry season then you’re really in luck and the Strawberry Nutella Waffle is a must. Hence my all caps yell typing earlier.
