8 Summer Lake Essentials from Backcountry

This post is sponsored by ShopStyle & Backcountry. All opinions & selections are my own.

Lake season is here and I am ready for weekends spent on the boat thanks to Backcountry! We buy pretty much all of our outdoor gear from Backcountry because they have the best selection around, free 2-day shipping on US orders over $50 and unbeatable customer service.

Backcountry carries our favorite warm-weather brands like Maaji, Ray-Ban, YETI, great summer finds like rashguards for women and girls, coolers, and more. They even carry an impressive selection of paddle boards! Today, I’m sharing 8 of my lake essentials that I purchased from Backcountry!

One-Piece Swimsuit // I walked down the stairs in this floral onepiece and got audible oohs and ahhs from my girls and some of them told me that I looked “so beautiful”. I was rather shocked at the reaction but pleased to say the least. They don’t normally don’t get invested in my wardrobe choices but the colors on this one piece really are beautiful. It has a supportive top and great booty coverage too! A one-piece is essential for tubing with the kids, If you’re looking for black, I also love the v-neck detailing and the booty coverage on this one. If you are purchasing for the fellas, these are Zach’s favorite board shorts!

Sandals // If you are looking for comfortable slides, I cannot recommend these enough. I have several pairs but the “Bali Sands” color has been my go-to this summer.

Comfortable Cover-up // A coverup that you can easily throw on and off is a must and I personally love one with long sleeves when I am on the boat. This one is great because you can button it up or leave it unbuttoned if you wish. Made of lightweight linen, it would be a great coverup for vacation as well.

Wide-Brimmed Hat // I always take this hat with me on the boat because it won’t blow off with the chin strap. (Yes it is a man’s hat but it has an elastic piece that holds it in place.) I love that it has a sturdy rim and holds it’s shape if it gets wet. It is a must for when we stop to float around or let the kids play, or dock and head to the pool. This hat has also been one of my favorite sun hats for 4 summers running and I just replaced it for the first time last year! I wear a medium and highly recommend it!

Ray-Bans // If you are looking for comfortable lake glasses that will fit under any hat you throw on, get these Ray-Bans. They are my go-to each summer for when I know I will be wearing a hat all day. Zach loves these!

Cooler Tote // We typically would pack a backpack cooler for the boat but I have been relying heavily on the cooler tote this summer. I like that this one is large enough for a few drinks and snacks but still easy for the girls to help me carry if needed. With dad on the golf course, I am typically taking the girls to the pool by myself. Packing a cooler and towel bag that are easy to fold and put in the pool bag when empty has been one of my go-to mom hacks for summer!

Life Jacket // A life jacket is the most essential piece of lake gear, and backcountry even has them for your dog. I love this one for myself and these are great also.

Rambler // Backcountry has the best selection of YETI Ramblers! This 20 oz. is my go-to but I just saw this version with a straw and I think I need it!
