I first fell in love with ELEMIS when I tried the Pro-Collagen line, but did you know the Superfood Facial Oil was one of the first ELEMIS products I tried? It’s remained a staple in my skincare routine ever since. Below you’ll learn how I use ELEMIS’ Superfood Face Oil, the benefits of Superfoods in skincare and more products and reviews of the ELEMIS Superfood line.
Why Superfoods?
Is superfood trendy? Maybe. But if it’s healthy and it works then I consider it a win and I’ll hop on that bandwagon. Superfoods are nutrient-rich with antioxidants, which in both skincare and in the foods you eat, help reduce inflammation and free-radical damage over time. ELEMIS launched the Superfood collection in 2016 and each product in the line is vitamin-packed including prebiotics to balance the microflora of the skin.
Benefits of the Superfood Face Oil
The Superfood Face Oil is light and non-greasy made from 9 superfood oils including broccoli, rosehip, flaxseed, and radish. It easily absorbs into your skin and leaves you glowing. For me, it’s reduced redness and I can tell a difference in the inflammation in my skin, especially when I use this with facial tools.
How I Use Face Oil
I mostly use the ELEMIS Superfood Face Oil when I Gua Sha. It helps the tool glide over my skin while the tool helps push the oil all over. You only need a few drops. If you’re thinking, “I have oily skin, I can’t use oil†don’t worry, I thought so too. But, this Superfood oil is so good for you, and I’ve never broken out using it. In ELEMIS’ independent testing, 90% of people said it left their skin smooth and reduced the appearance of dull skin. If you’re not into Gua Sha, just put three to four drops in your palm before pressing onto your face and neck.

Superfood Face Wash // I’ve been using the Superfood Face Wash a lot this summer. It’s a gel cleanser with broccoli, wheatgrass and kale extracts. I agree with the 90% of the independent trial users who say it leaves their face feeling refreshed. It’s a great cleanser for after the lake or pool to wash the day away.
Superfood Day Cream // If you’re still nervous about using oils, I highly recommend trying the Superfood Day Cream. You get all the benefits of superfoods in a lightweight moisturizer. Can you believe 99% of people said their skin felt smoother, softer and more hydrated after four weeks? While not in the Superfoods collection, the Marine Moisture Essence is also a great addition if you need extra hydration.
Superfood Vital Veggie Mask // Like a veggie packed smoothie but luxurious and calming for your face. Wheatgrass, Kale and Nettle replenish the skin with vital minerals and vitamins, whilst Avocado and Chia Seed Oils, naturally rich in Omega Fatty Acids 6 and 9, soften skin and lock in moisture.
