Spring Blues: Cute Blue Tops & Dresses

Do you ever have one of those Mondays where as soon as you hit the ground running you regret not waking up three hours earlier and/or stayed up into the wee hours of the night to get ahead? That is me today. I’ve been fighting fires and taking phone calls all morning. From taxes to preschool picture day this Monday has already been very diverse and extremely aggressive with it’s tasks. So excuse me while I escape back to Charleston in my mind and daydream over some cute blue tops & dresses.

I have always loved wearing the color blue and when I saw this light blue top at Madewell I snatched it up without thinking twice. It’s lightweight enough to layer under a jacket or wear on the hottest of days plus it has the cutest details. I love the buttons up the front and the ruffle on the trim of the sleeve. It’s long enough to wear untucked but also looks great tucked into the front of your jeans.
