Today I’m sharing an under $100 dress from Nordstrom that I’ll be wearing all summer long. This dress was included in yesterday’s post with summer dresses under $100 so check out that if you missed it! If you’ve ever worn an off-the-shoulder dress then you know that the elastic is a crucial component. This dress has a thicker elastic band but it isn’t as tight as some I’ve worn which helps it stay put on the shoulders without digging into your skin. I love the length of the hem and the length of the sleeves as well! .
Another thing I really like about this style is where the waistline is located. That paired with the fabric helps it to lay smoothly and not bunch up around the middle. It’s made of rayon which means it will need to be dry-cleaned but which also means it is lightweight and comfortable. I paired it with a gold Clare V. clutch, my trusty Quay sunglasses and some comfortable and really affordable wedges.

My favorite part about this dress is that it can easily be dressed up or down. After all if you buy a dress you want to be able to get a lot of use out of it right? The ivory and blue striped fabric looks great with neutral sandals and an oversized blush tote. The hemline is also long enough to make it a great dress to wear during the day. You could wear it shopping or to an event that requires sitting down, moving around or even wrangling a baby or two. Sometimes when hemlines are long enough to be modest they can look a little frumpier on me but this one is shorter on the sides which I really like! (I’m 5’6″ and in a small for reference.)
