Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a fantastic New Year’s Eve! We stayed in, watched Maleficent with the girls, and then looked through old photos of the last decade on the couch in our sweats. Let’s just say when you go from single and 24 with no kids to married and 34 with two kids, every year is vastly different. I will say that so far I’m liking this almost-mid thirties thing and I’m pretty excited about 2020.
I don’t really make resolutions but I do love a fresh start to reinforce healthy habits and set new goals. This year I want to put my physical, mental and spiritual health more in the forefront. As a mom it’s my default to take a back seat to everyone else’s demands and needs and I just want to make sure that this year I carve out more time for myself. I want to sweat consistently, to read more, to say no when I don’t want to do stuff, to take a break and go be outside when I need fresh air. I think if I constantly remind myself that my never-ending to-do list can wait then I will enjoy 2020 all the more. I want to have more patience with my kids and extend more grace to those around me. I want to make sure I keep my relationship with Zach a priority and I want to work harder & smarter than ever before, not in time but in effort. I also want to declutter our house from the move & finish decorating some of the rooms! I’m going to unveil my plan in the coming days but I’m going to have some weekly and monthly home decor goals that should make for good blog posts!
For CristinCooper.com, I have some big plans for more video content, regular IGTV tutorials, maybe a podcast (maybe) and hopefully a product launch later in the year… more on that to come! I’m also going to start the process of finding and hiring a Digital Marketing Assistant in the coming weeks. I’m so excited with the possibility of what this brand can become and all the ways I can serve you guys and I can’t wait to hit the ground running.
For today though, I’m focusing on the New Year’s Day sales before hanging out more with the family. There aren’t too many must-shop sales but some of the Christmas sales have increased in discount percentage. I rounded up the best sales below and my favorite finds!
