Mom Style Monday: Go-To Summer Style

Today is June’s Mom Style Monday and I’m teaming up with my friends Mallory (Style Your Senses) and Kate (The Chic Series) to talk about our go-to summer styles! Mine (no surprise here) is the off the shoulder dress trend. When I first saw this dress online I wasn’t sure how it would fit me but decided to order it anyways due to it’s $49 price tag. When it came in I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the fit. I love the length of this dress, the cut of the sleeves and the color (I have a fondness towards black). I also really love that this dress gives you coverage but is still a little dressy. It’s amazing how showing a little clavicle can take a normal shift style and instantly up it’s cute factor. Did I mention that it comes in red and white too? Perfect for a 4th of July party, wedding celebration or girls’ night!

I styled this look with these neutral block heels from Nordstrom, my favorite Hammitt bag & these matte black Quay sunglasses I can’t quit wearing. The fabric on this dress is a little thicker but I think you could still dress it down with the right flats.
