Happy Monday! There are 14 days until Christmas and the holiday parties are coming in hot!! Several of you have asked me about dresses for the holidays so I thought today would be a good day for a little dress edit. The dress I’m wearing in this post is one of my favorites and I’ve gotten so much wear out of this affordable faux-leather jacket. I love the pairing of lace and leather and that I can wear each piece individually for a ton of different looks. Before we get in to more great dresses a little disclaimer if you will. My girls were out of school on Friday and we played all the livelong day all weekend long. They are out of school AGAIN, overtired and wanting to drag me out sledding for the 97th time. I’ve bribed them with snacks and Moana while I try to pump this thing out so don’t judge me for the brevity.
I really love the coral color of this dress but it also comes in black, green (love), plum and navy. I would wear this leather jacket with all of them – yes, even navy! People have asked me about this jacket and if there are others that I would recommend and long story short, no. I’ve tried on probably 50 in over a year of searching for a good / pretty / affordable jacket and this is the only one that I’ve found. The others are too boxy, too cropped, crap quality or just ugly. So there you go… my one recommendation for a leather jacket this season is this one.
