Jacket | Tank | Jeans | Bag (Similar) | Necklace | Sunglasses | Sandals
There are several reasons that I love this outfit. First off, this tank is really thin but has an intricate lace detailing and dressier pattern so it’s a great staple to have for those summer nights when you need to dress things up a bit. It could easily be paired with white denim and heels for a summer dinner party or worn more casual for dinner out on the town like I did here. I’m also really loving these Kate Spade sandals because the straps aren’t so thin that they dig into my feet but they also aren’t so thick I look like I’m wearing a shoe with slits in it. I also love that the ties can be tied up or down and they are just really really comfy so I’m pretty much wearing them daily. The other item I can’t get enough of are these pants!
I’m 5 foot 5 and a half (don’t forget about the half) but I have a naturally long torso which leaves, you guessed it, shorter legs. One the one hand it’s great to have a long torso for things like wearing bathing suits in my pre baby days (RIP ab muscles) but on the other hand you have to deal with your leg mass being smushed down a couple of inches. Since I’m on the forever quest for longer and leaner looking thighs I love dark denim and a good neutral shoe. The only problem with denim these days is that I’m not Gisele (I know you’ve been wondering) and every single pair I buy I have to get hemmed. Don’t get me wrong I love my hours spent with the sweet Greek lady that hems my pants but I could use the extra time and for sure the extra dollars much more wisely. Enter the cropped pant. Well, it’s supposed to be cropped on normal (read: extremely tall) girls but it fits little ole’ me just right with no hemming at all needed. (Sorry sweet Greek lady.)
