O-Ku Sushi is located at 463 King Street in Charleston, SC. A sushi lover for life I have long been a loyal fan of this local hotspot. The location is the perfect spot for grabbing lunch to fuel up for an all day shopping adventure in the Holy City. And once the shops close & the sun sets, King Street comes alive as the go-to destination for happy-hour crawls & late night spirits. Day or night, O-ku has the location & the menu to hit the spot!
Not only is the location a prime spot in Charleston, but O-ku’s menu is also one of those that makes you go…. “how much for one of everything? Seriously…. can I have one of ever. single. thing?” Created by executive chef Thad Stuckey, the menu features appetizers that will tickle your palette, sushi and sashimi selections that will make you need to unbutton your skinny jeans because you just can’t stop eating, and specialty rolls that will keep you coming back for more.
You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu because everything is so fresh & delicious. But if you want to try some of my personal favorites then get the O-ku Spring Roll & Dumpling Dimsum. Oh my gosh and the pork belly steam buns. Please order the steam buns. For your entree try a Bento-box or the Firecracker & Black Dragon rolls! Also the Basil Berry Lemonade & Legends of The Fall cocktails do not disappoint!
