Earlier this summer we took a family vacation to Rosemary Beach with our best friends and our 6 children ages 3 & under. We played, ate, laughed and enjoyed watching our babies get to know each other better. Going into the weekend we prepared ourselves for the worst including but not limited to children that wouldn’t sleep, children fighting, children hating the sand and children just acting like children. At the end of the week we were already planning our repeat trip to 30A next year because there weren’t any fights, very few meltdowns and basically endless amounts of giggles. It was my first time to Rosemary Beach and the 30A area and I fell in love! It’s like you’re stepping back in time and is just altogether dreamy with plenty of places to eat, drink and play.

Here we are at the beach all happy. Mostly because we took a beach bag all packed and ready and I took the girls to the pool with their friends while the dad’s unloaded the car. We also had our groceries delivered via Shipt which is the best thing in the entire world! After Zach got the car unloaded we partied hard on the beach all day long.
An item that we couldn’t have lived without was this wagon. I ordered it off of Amazon and it served as a transportation vehicle, a table and even a crib.
Another crucial beach item is a mini pool. Your kids can take 1 million trips to and from the ocean filling it up and then you can just dump it on them so they can do it again. It’s evil and wonderful at the same time.
Totally not necessary but mini chairs are just cute and therefore I make us pack them, keep up with them and drag them to the beach every day. Thank goodness for that wagon, huh?
If you’re looking for things to do in 30A take a bike ride to Alys Beach and go look at all of the pretty white buildings.
Then you can stop at Charlie’s Donut Truck for a snack and some fun in the splash pad. Our little ones loved it and we went every single morning!
Aly’s beach also has George’s which is one of the very best restaurants in 30A.
Since we have kids, our dinners looked a lot like this every night but I’m not complaining. Rosemary Beach has plenty of restaurants that offer takeout. This salad from La Cocina is maybe one of the best salads I’ve had in a long time and this sunset…. well gracious it’s pretty!
The Hub is another excellent option for dinner. Fun for kids and grownups alike as there is live music and endless options for food and drinks. If you have a picky eater in your crowd go here and they can chose from any one of eight eateries.
Another great spot to dine in 30A is at The Pearl. You can grab snacks by the pool, eat at their bar & grill or on their rooftop lounge. There are also a ton of restaurants and shopping options nearby.
If you like options then here are all of the best places to stay, shop, eat, play, sip and indulge in 30A!
