
A twist on Alice Springs Chicken from Outback. If you know, you know. A meal so good it cleared out the forest creatures…
2-4 containers of cooked mushrooms
chicken breasts
salt, pepper and a pinch of garlic salt
Ken’s Honey Mustard
cooked bacon
cheese
– Line your plan with cooked mushrooms. I only used two containers this time but I like to cook 4.
– Then layer on uncooked chicken breasts. I seasoned with salt, pepper and a pinch of garlic salt.
– Slather with Ken’s Honey Mustard!! (You can make your own with Mayo, honey & Dijon mustard but Ken’s is our favorite)
– Top with cooked bacon if you want. (We were out)
– Add more cooked mushrooms on top.
– Top with cheese. Munster or Colby Jack is our favorite. Shredded, sliced, it doesn’t matter.
– Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 min. If the cheese gets crispy then cover for the rest of the time.
