What’s In My Beauty Bag: February

Everyday Makeup Routine

My Everyday Makeup

Today on Instagram stories I shared a quick look at my typical everyday makeup routine. This is as basic as it gets for me other than the days where I apply some tinted SPF, fill in my brows, swipe on some lipgloss, a few coats of mascara & head out the door. On rare occasions like today, when I’m spared a few minutes in the Starbucks drive through, here are my go-to products I like to use. You will notice that I don’t have an eyeshadow linked. I love this one as an easy, everyday favorite. I also only used a bronzer today, but in the event that I use a blush, this one is my go-to. I like color “love glow“.

Products in Order Of Application

BECCA Cosmetics BECCA Anti-Fatigue Under-eye Primer // After I apply skincare, I apply this primer to my under eye. It’s an anti-fatigue eye balm and primer in one that cools on contact and preps skin for smooth makeup application. Cucumber, matcha green tea and caffeine help it to smooth your skin, decrease puffiness and blur the look of fine lines.

IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination with SPF 50+ // This late winter skin has got me feeling blah and I’m just ready to feel dewy again. I usually wear the regular IT Cosmetics CC Cream but I ran out of my light-medium and my casper-esque appearance warrants “light” so I opted for the illuminating one. I love that it has SPF built into it and that it’s packed full of antioxidants. On days where I want more coverage, I wear Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 5.5. It is THE BEST!!! It’s lightweight and buildable and is great for everyday!

Charlotte Tilbury Complexion Brush // I applied the CC cream in stories today with this Hollywood Complexion Brush but to be honest, your fingers would work just as well!

Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer // This full-coverage, weightless, waterproof concealer with a natural finish that containing tiny powders that blur and brighten for up to 16 hours! This crease-resistant liquid concealer reflects light and blends seamlessly into skin, diffusing the look of pores and fine lines. It also has a highly pigmented formula that evens skin tone and diminishes the appearance of imperfections, leaving you with a natural, airbrushed finish. I wear color, “silk”.

Becca Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder // A brightening setting powder that sets your concealer, allowing for maximum wear. It is infused with light-reflecting pearl powders that instantly blur fine lines! I love this stuff!!!

Charlotte Tilbury Powder & Sculpt Brush // I set my under-eye concealer with this brush.

Sephora Collection Ready To Roll Brush Set // I think this is the best brush set out there!

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer // You can buy this on Amazon & it is AWESOME!! Plus, it smells amazing!

Becca Hydra-Mist Powder // My very favorite setting powder for every day use. It’s translucent, and makes your pores disappear!

MAC Paint Pot// I use this MAC paint pot in “Painterly” as an eyeshadow primer. Helps the shadow stay in place!

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Highlighter Wand // I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it until they discontinue this product. You need one of these in your beauty bag! It is essential to my everyday makeup routine. I apply on my cheekbones, my cupid’s bow, down the bridge or my nose and on my inner eye!

L’Oréal Paris Makeup Voluminous Lash Boosting Conditioning Primer Mascara // First of all, they need to calm down with that name. But, I love using a primer like this on by L’Oréal before I apply my mascara! It makes your lashes look long & thick!

Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara // I love this drugstore mascara! It’s amazing & an incredible price!!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz // This brow liner is always always always in my arsenal. I wear shade “taupe!”

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner // This liner in shade “Pillow Talk” is versatile for any shade of lips! It’s expensive and this liner in shade “alluring” is a dupe, but won’t last as long as Pillow Talk.

Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper // Today (and most days), I applied this lipgloss. I wore shade Prismatic Peach but I also love Luminoso.

When I first started following you, it was all about YOU and your dry sense of humor, but now I’ve also taken notice of your beauty recommendations. Most everything I’ve tried, you were right about.

I have one question about the NYX duper for the CT lip liner. Your post said it’s called “alluring” but I cannot find that specific color. Any other recommendations?
