Top 20 Beauty Buys of 2019

Earlier this week, I shared the best of 2019 which included the year’s top posts, best selling items, and even a few of my personal favorite purchases. Today I’m continuing the conversation with my Top 20 Beauty Products of 2019! These 20 beauty products are my tried and true favorites in skincare, makeup, and haircare and are the best products I am happy to have discovered in 2019. You would be blown away by how many beauty products I try each year, and narrowing down this list was TOUGH, but these top 20 buys really made an impression on me that stuck!

You may remember last year’s post where I shared the top beauty buys of 2018. While I still use and love MANY of the products shared in that post, I wanted to be sure to bring you an all new list of items this year, so you won’t see many repeats! However, you can rest assured that the products on both the 2018 and 2019 list are approved (and loved) by me.

My love of beauty products has only continued to grow in 2019, and I can’t wait to see what 2020 has to bring! Stay tuned for more beauty tutorials on IGTV & Youtube this year, and of course the occasional IG Story tutorial. Pro tip: I save my Instagram Beauty Tutorials to my highlights so they’re easy to find and re-watch! You can also always shop my beauty favorites on the “shop” page of my site. Here’s to 2020!

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette // Revisions Brightening Face Wash // Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops // Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream // Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask // Olaplex Bond Maintenance Shampoo // Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream // Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation // SK-II Toner // Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask // Becca Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer // Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara // Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer // M-61 PowerGlow Peels // Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer // Hourglass Ambient Lighting Highlighter Palette // Elta MD SPF 46 // Becca Hydra Mist Set and Refresh Powder // Peace Out Acne Healing Dots // Becca Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop

Best Skincare Products from 2019

Revisions Brightening Face Wash // I started using the Revisions Brightening Face Wash based on a recommendation I got from my friend (and skincare guru) Jordan Harper. So far I’m loving it!

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream // People go crazy over this stuff! First of all, it smells AMAZING, but you should really use the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream for its ability to improve skin elasticity and smooth the look of skin!

Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream // I first tried this Marine Cream from Elemis in this review of the brand’s Pro-Collagen collection, and loved it so much I decided to rotate it into my daily skincare routine! It feels almost like a very lightweight gel lotion and seeps into your skin immediately. I love it!

SK-II Toner // After using a whole bottle of the SK-II toner, I finally get the hype! This was a big beauty purchase this year and honestly I really think it helped improve my skin’s tone & texture.

M-61 PowerGlow Peels // I have been exfoliating daily with the M-61 PowerGlow Peels and swear that it has changed my skin along with the use of a face steamer! More on that in my winter skincare routine post.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask // The holy grail moisturizing mask. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask got me through several long flights this year and I literally do not travel without it. Also great for dehydrated, winter skin and can be used overnight.

Elta MD SPF 46 // I am adamant that using a daily SPF is a MUST for any and everyone. The Elta MD SPF 46 is one of the best on the market, and I wear it year round!

Peace Out Acne Healing Dots // These Peace Out Acne Healing Dots (combined with Retin-A) saved me from allll the 2019 breakouts. Why didn’t anyone invent these sooner?!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask // I am one of those people who cannot sleep without something on my lips. This lip sleeping mask was one of my favorite finds this year – I use it just about every night and wake up with plump, hydrated lips!

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops // Just a few drops of this liquid gold into your normal, daily lotion and you’ve got a pretty (not orangey) glow. I love that you can control your color by using more or less of the drops!

Best Makeup of 2019

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette // This best selling palette includes a collection of 9 neutral shades that can help you create looks ranging from subtle to bold. I will say, it’s on the shimmery side, so if you’re more of a matte eyeshadow person you might want to try this tried and true palette instead!

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation // This foundation was a favorite from the year and ended up being a hit with you guys! I picked it up over the summer, but it has worn well into the fall and winter months. I wear shade 5!

Becca Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer // Honestly don’t know how I gave birth to two children and managed to live without this stuff. It cools, brightens, de-puffs, and primes your under eyes! The Becca Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer looks flawless under makeup and is a secret weapon for tired moms.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer // Last year was very much the year of Shape Tape, but this year I was most impressed with this concealer from Nars! I think the coverage is just right and I love that it doesn’t feel to cakey or thick.

Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara // This year’s favorite drugstore mascara is the Covergirl Exhibitionist! For $8 you can’t beat this stuff.

Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer // Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer is a drugstore bronzer that you absolutely cannot go wrong with! I’m convinced this bronzer should be a staple in everyone’s makeup bag.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Highlighter Palette // I shared this highlighter palette initially in my October Sephora Haul and have loved using it to add a little extra glow in my makeup routine! Sadly, this was a holiday exclusive but Hourglass has a VERY similar palette here.

Becca Hydra Mist Set and Refresh Powder // Still hooked on this setting powder! It’s nice and cool upon application and leaves you with a subtle glow instead of a super matte look.

Becca Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop // Another incredible highlighter in the best selling shade, Champagne Pop! I think 2019 was the year I realized the importance of highlighter and I can promise you, I’m never turning back.

Best Haircare of 2019

Olaplex Bond Maintenance Shampoo // My new go-to shampoo! I bought the Olaplex Bond Maintenance Shampoo for the first time over the summer during the Prime Day sales and haven’t looked back since.
