Over the next few days The Southern Style Guide will be flooded in the best way possible with a ton of outfit features from our favorite boutiques in Greenville, SC
and a couple of the best places too eat too.
To start things off let’s talk about Augusta Twenty
, one of my favorite spots to shop in not just Greenville, but all of SC. This charming boutique nestled in the historic West End district of downtown Greenville has some serious style. Since their inception in 2002, Augusta Twenty has been offering up a mix of downtown cool and quiet sophistication in figure flattering staples and trendy accents. Owner Jennifer Houde and manager Melissa Stroud take pride in curating a selection of quality items for their customers and it shows! I could just prop myself up in their shop and bathe in the likes of ALC
, Loeffler Randall
, Rebecca Taylor
. That would most likely be frowned upon so I settle instead for spending countless hours pursuing the racks and wanting to take home pretty much everything.
During a recent shopping trip I was chatting with Jennifer & Melissa and asked them a couple questions about their ideal customer, what trends they are loving and what they are anticipating for fall. Jennifer described their ideal customer as “anyone from stylish girls in their 20’s and 30’s who like to experiment with style to women in their 50’s and 60’s who have a sophisticated, refined style”. As for trends that they are loving she said that the relaxed silhouettes we’re seeing in denim was at the top of her “it” list and the biggest thing they are anticipating for fall is lace, lace and more lace. Talk about girls after my own heart.
If you are in Greenville, SC and looking for a great boutique with beautiful clothes and a knowledgeable and fashion forward staff you have to visit Augusta Twenty
. I’m extremely confident that not only will you enjoy chatting it up with Jennifer & Melissa but you will also love anything they pick out. Here are a few of my favorites!
